I remember watching this when I was little 🥺

My previous company had the tradition of presenting an artistic review of the past year during the annual event. We chose the sand drawing for 2010 or 2011, by the inspiration of her marvelous work when I came across it on a video site. I never thought the Ukrainians would suffer another war of this scale again in the 21st century. May the peace come soon to the country. Brave Ukrainians deserve it.

Still can't watch this without misting up. No idea what Ukraine's story was during WW2 but maybe people need something like this now more than ever in that country. She's so talented. Wonder where she is now.

Just watched an Indian man doing sand art on Asia's Got Talent... but nothing... nothing... will ever touch this piece. Maybe because it was the first I saw, but the feeling and emotion it evoked was real and not forced. In 2022, the loss of war will be made real again. I feel for all the new people that will relate to this pain that might not have known it when this was created. I'm a rational and don't often feel emotions, but I felt this. Ephemeral beauty.

But nowadays, Ukraine no longer honor the heroes in their songs of the past anymore. Or at least that's what their gov is trying to forget

And where are now these ukrainians? Now they are NATOs dirty hands to fight against their brothers.

I‘m not an emotional person and not crying easily. I watched it some years ago and sobbed like a child. After many years I finally found it again and again I‘m a sobbing mess. I feel with the people, who lost so many loved ones, because my ancestors wanted the war. (Yes, I‘m German) Now the innocent people have to lose their lives again. 😢
