Would you trade in your MacBook Air M3 16GB 512GB for the new base MacBook Pro M4? I still have time to trade it in, but I have to admit I love the size of that screen. It's supposed to be a computer that will last for years.

I wish Apple would release a standalone 24" 4.5k display for those of us that can't afford the 27" 5K display.

If you've got a MacBook Pro, you can use the Mini 'headless' via screen sharing. That's what I'm doing with my Mini and when I get my M4 Mini. Then no peripherals are needed.

Starting at $1999? I thought it was $1599?

I see that you had Clo3d running on the Macbook, simulation runs off CPU so it should be faster, but what about rendering with the CPU? Since Clo3d does not utilize GPU acceleration with the M chips how does it perform while rendering large images at max quality settings?? I ask because I currently have a M1 max and rendering multiple colorways even on mild settings can take 30min - 1hr!

Finally .... im gonna buy a Mac Mini..

What's going to happen for those who bought the M2 and M3 Airs already? The new buyers will have 16GB of Ram. I have an M2 Air and i've got only 8GB of Ram. It would be great to exchange our devices with the new 16GB models. That my opinion but i don't know what's going to happen my Mac. I hope My one Year old M2 Macbook Air won't slow down suddenly due to the new Apple Intelligence

They should think of releasing things every 2 to 3 yrs. Every year it's something , craxy expensive and has 1 major change ang norhing interesting or helpful. I still have an iphone 6s , ipad 9th generation lol , i guess I'll upgrade when they have an iphone 20, ipad whatever and a MacBook m10 or whatever. 😂😂😂
