I just got the game 2 days ago and it my first time playing but I haven't started yet because I'm sick 😄

Being 25 hours in, I can’t believe there’s extra content that adds 20 more hours 😭 I’ll be playing this forever haha. So daunting to try and play all the games on the Switch

I have the Wii version and it's going into the trash. Yet another stupid button mashing action game.

To me, Xenoblade Chronicles is the best JRPGs of all time IMO because of the following reasons:

1.) It has an incredibly well-written storyline with so many unexpected twists and turns with much of the storyline being based on real life religious scripture, gnostic texts, and some esotericism, etc. giving it a tangible connection to our world in a way (that honestly inspires one to ponder exactly how large and amazing OUR world just might be that we are not actually aware of).
2.) It implements a perfect combination/balance of real-time and turn-based combat so it's got a little something for everybody.
3.) It presents a HUGE open world... pretty much everything you see can be traversed, which was absolutely BONKERS for the Wii.
4.) It's world and art style is extremely unique, filled with beautiful scenes only out of one's wildest dreams that are complemented by one of the most masterfully composed soundtracks (where every single area's soundtrack in the game is matched with a daytime AND nighttime version).

Not to mention, the HD remake contains all of this and more... but regardless, if you haven't played this game, you must... Playing it on any one of it's platforms will suffice, tbh. It's truly a timeless masterpiece. If I was a professional video game reviewer, I'd happily give it an 11/10 review score if that was even possible! Lol. The game will instill an entirely different outlook/inspiration towards life and will keep you invested in it for hundreds of worthwhile hours. :)

This game is amazing and was the only game i could t wait to get to the next cut scene because of how amazing the story is!

Just beat this game tonight. Wasn't that impressed for the first 20 hours but then something happened in the story and I was hooked... amazing RPG!

I love looking at the clouds in this game, really gives me a laputa castle in the sky feel.

Not long bought this for the Switch, Oled. It’s enhanced it even further. Looks fantastic!

It's the only game I've ever played where people describe how far they are by pointing to a body part.

I recently picked this up along with xenoblade chronicles 2. When I got home I realized pt. 1 is all in Spanish. 😅

I haven’t touched this in years, and barely got into the story at all to the point I can’t say I have played it. The tutorials were bad at explaining everything about the game, and I diddnt understand any of the mechanics of combat or anything else. Even online guides are too complicated to follow.

I've had this for about a year now just sitting on a shelf of games i barely touched. I think i'll make this the first one i dive into.

Glad this got a remake, I tried to play it on the 3ds and just couldnt. playing 2 now and liking it. will be picking this up after I beat 2

When I played the game first on the 3DS I wanted it to never end. I feared the ending because it was SO good! Yes, this game is magical and if you want to have an experience that changes you you've got to play this game. It's my all-time favourite.

I finally beat it. I finally took a couple of long weekends almost exclusively playing and beat it. It's a hell of a game.

I just bought this. I didn't get on with the 3DS version but hear this is the best way to play it.

Game sucks imo

I played the original when it came out not knowing much about it and it quickly became one of, if not my favourite game ever; I love everything about it, the exploration, the combat, the characters, the story, the soundtrack.
I got it again on the switch and I still love it as much as when i first played it.

I clicked on this for zenoblades and the first thing I noticed was that Chainsaw Lancer . It’s funny cause Gears 5 is the coolest I played in a while.

Played this on the 3DS and it gave me headache because of the fuzzy graphic and I can't understand how the combat actually works. Will try again on better screen this time on switch.

I played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 never played this, but I don't think it will match Xenogear.

Are there mechs tho?!?!

holy c**p, they let you choose between original and new music. User experience focus at high level.

Starting 2 1/2 years ago on the Wii (I actually found a physical copy for around $50) and then restarting and finishing on Switch, this game was worth the time and effort. All that's left for me is Future Connected, and after that, I might New Game+ after a while to get the last 10 achievements I need.

It's been a while since i watched one of your videos. Excited to pick this up. I just beat XB2 and was almost in tears at the end because of how impactful it was on me. If XB1 is anything close, i am sure i will fall in love all over again. thanks for being so positive!

The combat system is super clunky, it’s keeping me from enjoying the game

I'm so conflicted on getting this game. On one hand the massive world and nice art style really appeals to the JRPG lover in me but I'm just not a fan of how the combat looks at all. If it had combat similar to the Ys game, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I'm not really into JRPGs but this game grabbed my like no other. I'm 25 hours in and I'm taking my time and absorbing this amazing world. If you are not sure I would say go for it, you have nothing to lose but might find a masterpiece.

Can we just agree that for both xenoblade 1 and 2, the majority of their stories are in voiced cutscenes and the gameplay itself is specific nitty-gritty stuff and boss fights.

20 hours in... playing it with my 5 year old often, he loves it. Love exposing him to JRPG's and not just fortnight junk.
