Some players have an extra gear, and when the afterburners engage there's just no catching them. Daly's always fun to watch.

So glad he’s been selected for the Lions again. The Squidge boys when selecting their squad said either him or Jamie Osborne would go as the utility back and they went with Osborne but it’s definitely Daly for me

He can kick far as well

Daly is the definition of deceptively fast! He doesn’t look that quick when he is running until you see him racing past defenders.

Didn't expect to be such a good tackler

Hes such a talented player but is somehow so unexciting. He really can do everything - tackle, kick, pass, run - but just doesnt get me going...

And to think he could have been an elite cricketer instead if he'd wanted (unsuprisingly he was apparently an all-rounder)

An absolute class player. Always one of my favorite players watching him for wasps. I thought he was a classic 13 with that arching outside run with deceptive pace & slick hands.

Has been such a classy player for his whole career. Often unfairly criticised by England fans who I think take him for granted - a player that can play for the LIONS in four different positions should be lauded as generationally gifted. He's got gas, silky skills, intelligence, an immense boot and his defence is underrated. What a player!

On top of the tries, long distance pens and big hit, he used to get a huge number of assists when England were flying. Just a brilliant rugby player. Just a brilliant rugby player.

It's funny - I've never really rated Daly and I could never really justify why. I suspect it's nothing to do with how he plays and more because he looks very similar to a bloke who I used to work with who's an absolute bellend. Still, looking forward to the novelty of being able to cheer him on this Summer.

Pure class

My two favourite tries by Elliott Daly for England are the late winner against Wales in Cardiff in 2017 and the even later winner against France earlier this year. Both tries had me out of my chair and frightening the cat.

Deceptively good. At rugby brain. Great kicker from range and hand. Clever player.

He’s such a complete player, also a really underrated tackler

He can literally do everything. Beats defenders with pace, left foot kicking option, goal kicker, big hitter, great kick chase, good under the high ball, acts as another distributor. I mean how can he get so much criticism.

I could never have imagined 11.36 mins of highlights. He’s quietly done pretty well in his time.
