I don't really get Jesse realizing that Huell stealing his weed means that he also stole the ricin cigarette used to poison Brock considering Brock wasn't poisoned with ricin.

It's weird that they have to pay a stunt parker, like Bryan Cranston couldn't pull into a parking space lol

I never understood why Jesse blew up about the cigarette.. It was determined that berries poisoned Brock, not Ricin..I guess they just needed Jesse to explode, and this was the best way?

so jesse at first acts like a pro and keeps his mouth shut but later tells on anyone? and a junkie would never figured out the cigarette thing! drugs clud your mind! and what is jesse's problem he is "in the game" where anything goes! jesse decided to be a criminal when he first cooked dope and has to accept anything happening in this world ncluding broke being sick for a bit and later he was fine! so wtf jesse?

Howesenburg films did a full breakdown on the entire series and his opinion is that this plot line was never mentioned after this episode because the writers realized just how much of a checkmate it would be.

Is it unfair to say that Saul had a massive oversight in making it clear that Huell stole Jesse’s weed, thereby ensuring Jesse would make the connection that Huell lifted the ricin cigarette from him back in season 4?

Even if Saul didn’t know about Jesse’s suspicions from the ricin lifting, which I don’t think he did, it still seems like a stupidly easy way to have that all unravel as Jesse would have soon realized what went down. I don’t think there’s any way he would have looked at what happened in this episode and been like “Huell took my weed, but probably didn’t also take the ricin from me”.

Maybe it’s just easier to look back on the series with a more critical eye, and things like this major plot did have to unravel at some point in the show. I won’t say it went down terribly, just that it felt so incredibly like they only focused on having Jesse find out instead of him discovering it in a way that would have made more sense or been less reckless and risky for Saul to do. Doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme, but the way it was revealed just seemed flimsy, like Jesse was just never going to put two and two together. Maybe Saul thought he’d already be re-located by the time he found out? Even still, there’s no way Jesse wouldn’t be hellbent on exacting revenge or justice after realizing how much he was played by Walt and how he was willing to manipulate him and hurt a little kid just to get what he wanted.

That last scene should have never touched the editing room floor 😢

something ive never understood is how jesse came to the conlusion here that walt poisoned brock. brock was not poisoned by ricin, it was lily of the valley. is it not more likely that walt would have made huell take the cigarette for some other reason? theres no reason for jesse to associate the cigarette disappearance with brocks poisoning anymore

I would love a "What if..." Where walt discovers hank is working with Gus for real and hank actually goes against him during the "Killing gus" arc and when it happens hank and walt get in a kind of fight between them (thats all i could think sitting in the bathroom)

Can we just talk about what a sweetheart Betsy is? Apologizing to people for awful things her character said to theirs is just so holesome. And totally relatable. Sometimes my friends and I do a kinda improv thing and when I’m in character saying something mean I pause for a minute and make sure the person knows I don’t actually mean what I’m saying.
