I have been playing Left 4 dead since I was about ten years old I've also been a walking dead fan since it came I am very disappointed that one of my favourite characters from The walking dead is actually one of the voice actors in Left 4 dead and I'm not disappointed at anybody but myself because of how much of a fan I am of the Left 4 dead I feel like I should have known this from the very start

I loved when Chad's face lit up after unrecognized voice lines were mentioned, it kind of goes to show that despite the exhaustion, he appreciates what the developers did and the variety of voicelines we were given. It cracked me up when Coach didn't even finish the "Cheeseburger Apocalypse" quote before Chad started laughing. He seems so wholesome, and I hope to meet him someday, even if it is brief and he doesn't remember me. I love that these guys got to have a good laugh with him over that legendary line.

Coach is one of those characters where you appreciate the way he reacts to friendly fire with "EXCUSE ME..? E X C U S E M E ? ? ?"
I think there is hidden but ultimately unused line in L4D2 that one player kept triggering with some sort of special command in PC version, where Nick insinuated that Rochelle might warmed up a bit more to Coach than rest of the crew wink wink nudge, and the exchange is cute, though likely officially unused because much like Rammstein this is not a love song. But I did not mind playing as Rochelle we all love coach.

Big props for all the voice actors with Chad as indeed, the type of exhausting work you and Valve back then did was type that is not boring to this day as the design was to maximize variety and make it pleasing to hear "The same thing" by masking it as different line or whatever else like that, different types of mid journey conversations and all that. Of course you WILL hear the same thing but you will not hear the exact same thing. Team Fortress 2 is same way and they genuinely do not make them like that anymore. Nobody wants that their game is played for 10 years they want you buy the new one in two.

Man he’s such a wholesome dude, clearly doesn’t remember Jack shit from almost 20yrs ago doing voice acting to where his career has taken him, but still tried his hardest to remember the character/ lines. I was today years old when I found out Chad Coleman is also coach.

Its so bizarre, who would've known? He sounded so different in twd, but you can get a semi glimpse of his coach voice somewhere in the episodes he's in but still cant recognize it from left for dead. MIND BLOWING STUFF! 1 year apart from the release of twd, is this a coincidence? Minus well call all the character by left 4 dead names instead.
