i gotta a question? idk how to conect my ps2 to my samsung t240hd. can someone help me to put my ps2 to my samsung t240hd

umm connect the yellow cable to the yellow slot in the back and the white to white and red to red........

Hows the TV tuner on this monitor? How does it work? Do u just plug in the Cable and there goes ur TV? Or do u have to have like some sort of program?

No, you use a coax cable for the TV tuner.

Best Buy has it. but its like $500 there. go to Amazon and get a referb one for $239. the referbs are just like new. no problems with them.

FragileStaticCircus: I know, dude I can't decide between this or the Dell S2409W 24'' full hd monitor. I heard Dell makes the best monitors but Im not sure which one is better, this T240 or the Dell S2409W

FragileStaticCircus: the only thing I am debating on is wheater I should spend an extra $50-$100 on a monitor that is also an hdtv (T240HD). that's the thing I can't decide on. btw, the hdtv feature on this monitor is just an added bonus for me. because I am mainly going to use this as a monitor. and most likely going to use the hdtv before sleep

FragileStaticCircus: yeah I knew you would agree with me on that. I'm about 70-80% sure I'm going to stick with the Dell S2409W for all the reasons you mentioned. better brightness, more vivid colors

Dell doesn't make their own TFT panels they mostly used Samsung, sonys and etc.. Technically you're buying samsung tft panel..

I don't know why, but in Europe this monitor is still 450$ :( But I will buy this or the P2370HD (at same price) on this week. I hesitate which one. The P2370HD has 16:9 screen ratio vs. the T240HD 16:10.

He said that they aren't very good. I'm totally getting this, to replace my 17" Samsung SyncMaster 740x, because my 5 year old TV broke down, so I'm gonna get this. Also, thanks for explaining everything, because when I read that there are 2 HDMI ports and a VGA/DVI port in other reveiws, I thought it didn't have component/SCART. Thanks for the nice review, now I can't wait even more for this TV. =P

Last week I bought one. It's really perfect for a monitor and for TV too. . Mine is a newer version. It has a new remote control and it has a built in DVB-T MPEG4 tuner instead of MPEG2.

okaa i was planning on getting this monitor for pc gaming and 360 gaming so what's the best way to connect it to a 360 for the best quality? I thought simply connecting via. VGA cable would display in 1080p but I'm not sure. so any help will be greatly appreciated thx.

well that would work fine accept, i have the first 360 model from the year it came out so no HDMI.

If you go with the Dell make sure you're aware that it's lower resolution than this.

Monitor barely works with Composite though, it only shows up as a blurry grey-scale colour scheme.

if you have dvi you dont need to connect a hdmi to hdmi , cuz dvi is better than hdmi. you only need the hdmi if you wnat to connect ps3 , 360 or any other multimedia device

@CrackerAssHillbilly Overstock has it now for $239 when u include shipping + you can go through the US airways shopping mall portal and get 500 miles for the purchase I'm sure other airline and bonus programs are doing the same with Overstock too

great monitor. i got it for $235.99 and its listing price is $515. so i got it for a great laborday weekend sale. amazing for computer and a gaming system.

White smoke came out of mine.. and it's a little over a year old... :(
