Overall excited, not really looking forward to more complex rulesets though. Adjusting the statline is a dangerous endeavor

New rulebook which completely invalidates all the previous rulebooks - Absolutely not

Mk 2 assaults and breachers made the show for me, just salty about the rules changes I started HH to get away from the current bloat system of 40K.

After that trailer, I’m torn. Should I start playing 40k, or, go straight to 30k Horus Heresy with the lovely models and try and proxy for 40k?

The old models are really dumb looking to me, but these new ones are Freaking awesome

My frustration with HH when I attempted to collect a World Eaters force was how often I had to resort to 3d printing or lousy forge world sculpts.

This box is awesome, but it doesn't help me at all. Maybe fluff wise in the fact that the world eaters preferred Mark 2. That still doesn't help me with building berserker squads

At this point I am just going to get horus heresy models. The difference between 40k and horus heresy is night and day in quality.

please i need mk4 and heresy armor in the next box.

Question for Heresy players (I only play 40K): when you buy these box sets, do you paint two different forces as on the box, or do you use the entire box to your dedicated army? Thinking about getting into Heresy with Blood Angels.

Surely I can't be the only one who thinks all the saturnine stuff looks dumb - really dumb.

Not really needing anything from the new starter box as I already have large traitor and loyalist legions, although I'm sure I could find room for some Mk II marines. More interested in new plastic for my Mechanicum and Custodes armies. However all of these will have to wait as it looks like I'm going to have to shell out about £200 on a set of new books before I start playing the new edition.

Fell blade looks like a Russian t54 was sucked into the future and everything was upgraded except for the turret lol.

I'm not familiar with the HH rules either, but in many other games that I like, there's an important distinction between "good at getting other units to unpin or follow orders" and "good at keeping yourself motivated and in the fight." So there's an easy justification for at least 2 of the four character stats.

Geez i know someone already asked this but still : how do you swing a hammer with such pauldrons ? How are they built ? Can the arms move freely inside this enormous eggshell ? (So maybe more modular poses than it looks ?) or the shoulder and upper arms are just stick to them ?

Do those contemptor (the Sword / Shield one and Spear one) dreads in plastic for custodes it is one thing keeping me from starting a 40k custodes army because I'd really like to field some of their forgeworld models..but I don't trust the resin, and really don't want to pay the prices.

Yay more models we can't use because they can't be deployed on the battlefield. Or there rules will suck for there points see Baneblade cause of Titanic Nerf.

It would be nice if in the video you focused on it as a release for Heresy rather than a side release for 40K. I know you're a 40K channel but it's nice for other gamers to get acknowledged from time to time.
