Thanks a lot! One question: Does the filter go to full self-oscillation (whistling) when you turn the resonance knob all the way up? As far as I saw, you did not go up to 100 % in this demo.
ОтветитьPretty cool demo and sounds !
ОтветитьGreat video, with the enlarged inlay of the JX-03. Great little instrument too, which I'm going to use as full functional a replacement for my JX-3P which broke down after so many years.
Please share some of the remaining 23 minutes with us also, since the JX-03 / JX-3P has so much more to offer ...
Ed it would be fantastic if you could demo how to set up the FA-06 so that the split keyboard could control all three of the at once in different sections of the keyboard.
Ответитьthe second patch (Org 1)...thats blues scale?
ОтветитьAfter hearing the three, I think the Ju-06 is the bang for the buck. One it sounds to me, way better(very close to the original as I have one). You only have 16 storage slots in this instrument(from what I understand) versus 128 on the Ju-06? To me, no matter how close it was to the original, it just sounds like pure square waves/sine waves to me. Not very musical, dull if you will?
Ответитьwow that's really a Jx3p reincarnate!
Ответитьthis sounds awesome,
ОтветитьWhat keyboard are you using ith the JX03
ОтветитьYou know, I actually like the sound of this, but I hate everything about it... no keys, or tiny keys, 4 voice polyphony, etc. You would think that Roland could have made it an 8 voice with 61 keys, considering Casio sells full sized 256 polyphony keyboards for under 100.00. I think it would be cool to have a 61 key version, at least 8 voices, that is JP08, JU06, and a JX03 all in one, with a massive real time controllable arp, and effects. But, that would make sense, and Roland doesn't seem to do anything that makes sense anymore.
Ответитьwhy is this recorded in mono?
ОтветитьThanks for your knowledge and sharing it! Which Synth/workstation/etc, do you think is the best? I have a Roland E-60 and Roland Fantom G-8. Thanks again, God Bless+
ОтветитьOne question! Can i use a sustain pedal with de Roland JX-3P? Conected to a m-audio midi controller.
Thank you!
Thanks Ed! How can I hook up a TC Helicon pedal so I can run my Guitar and mic/pedal thru the Fantom and into the software on my computer to record it?
ОтветитьHow do you get 16 32 and 64 notes with the high hat
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. if you had to buy two of these which ones would you recommend? 03 06 08? For modern dance, IE dubstep, pop etc? I like the 06 but undecided between 03 and 08.
Ответить4 voice means it can only do 4 note polyphony right?
ОтветитьEd Thanks for this... Question: how long will it take to make the butique line operable with MX-1. Like we can do with JD-XI. Just plug USB and midi/audio flows into MX-1. Thanks !
ОтветитьMakes you wonder why these just didn't get made into System-1 plugouts, considering its not real analog.
Ответитьit really seems like the JX03 gives the best value for the money, 2 VCO vs 1 with the JU06. More wave forms, better LFO and it also has chorus
Ответитьa vst does better...
Ответитьso will the boutique pair with any roland keyboard?
ОтветитьThe presets are awful...I bought my jx3p in 1983 and I always hated these presets... there is so much more possible with this great synth!!!!
ОтветитьI had the Ju-06 but sold it. Didn't like the sound in a full mix and hated the 4 note poly limit. It kept dropping notes even with TWO of them midi linked.
ОтветитьCold and not inspiring at all... I love my JP-8080, Nova and AN1x ;-))
ОтветитьWas that very first sound used in underworlds born slippy song? that's pad but stabbed and with a delay? simular
ОтветитьAre these boutiques still available from roland? Thanks
ОтветитьTutt
ОтветитьNew type of sound
