I love the symbology, but even more this is the first time we see the master in legitimate emotional anguish at losing Eichorst.

This scene was done so much better than in the book honestly. It has so much more impact here since Eichhorst and Setrakian have shared so much more history together than in the books. I really love the fact that the show took time to build on a lot of stuff that was glossed over in the books so I actually consider it the definitive canonical telling of the story.

Too bad it was not something that was a big movie release- the series was incredible and well done 👍 this would be a great horror movie also. The series allowed for a history to be displayed.

The way Setrakian picked up that sword like a boss. Slow like your parents when they picked up that belt right before they went to work on your butt.

I was watching this for the second time with one of my friends who was watching it for the first time and we both were laughing our asses off because it looks like he just took a load to the face

I loved the whole series. It has that premise that I love. Like where the whole society is transformed, and yet people continue their lives, politics change, routine changes, but it's not like the complete end of the world. It's fascinating. Of course, it's so ambitious that you can't expect everything to be neatly tied into a cohesive narrative. Lot of loose ends, plot holes, and weird scenarios where even the suspension of disbelief can't fix it. But despite all that, it's still a brilliant show. Mainly due to actors taking it seriously and giving all they have into their characters.

I jumped out of my seat when he swung that sword and chopped his head off. Great scene reminiscent of when Jack Bauer threw that dog Margot out the window in 24 Live Another Day.
