I disagree with the Orange hate here. When he started he was mostly about the slow light kick gimmick. Now hes just as fast and shows athleticism as much as any high flyer on the roster. While he shouldnt be a main eventer, hes proved himself to be a solid mid level guy that has produced many fun matches, even with some of the top wrestlers. There is room for this diversity in AEW. Diversity of personalities and styles are key to any wrestling roster

I do agree Orange's character is completely different. But sometimes it's too lazy. I do feel there are far worse offenders in Darby, Sammy Guevara, Shane Taylor and Wheeler Yuta as guys I never wanna watch again. Even Ospreay and White are not currently doing well. And please never put Hikaru on tv again, horrible. She looks like she hasn't worked out in years and she's bad in the ring.

Nobody has actually improved as a performer in AEW. Even established stars like Jericho, Edge, Mone and Danielson aren't on the same level they were in WWE. The bucks have got worse, guys like Darby have had no progression and then there are guys like Orange that should be relegated to the B show.

Nobody seems to want to improve to a better standard. They just want to keep the Indy mindset whilst believing they are a genuine international alternative to WWE. It just comes across as completely amateur, and feuds mean nothing as it feels like it's all so petty.

Yeah orange cassidy is just pathetic in all aspects. Hes not funny at all, his gimmick is not entertaining one bit and the dude looks like he couldnt beat a new born baby in a fight.

I don't watch AEW so I didn't know who Pockets was. I watched a "match" of his and I legitimately felt insulted. Why - if I'm seeking to watch WRESTLING - would I enjoy seeing some random guy in jeans just standing there gently tapping his opponent's leg with his foot? It's stupid beyond description, and the only thing dumber is the group of fans who chant and mark for it. The guy reminds me of a character nobody picks in a fighting game.

Cassidy and Mone make no sense. Cassidy and Darby beating all these big men makes no sense.

Cassidy is the outfit and the glasses. Without those his star quality instantly evaporates and he looks awful. And once a real wrestler sells his comedy gimmick it’s over for both them and the match as far as believability.

I really liked Orange Cassidy and Darby when AEW first started because both were legitimate underdogs. Tony ruined them when they became champions and main eventers. Orange should have just remained a funny slacker.
