Strider and the hobbits reach the feet of the Weather Hills. Gandalf and the hobbits take leave of Bilbo and say farewell to Elrond and his household. Elrond tells Frodo to watch for him in the Shire at this time of year in the near future. They leave Rivendell, riding slowly.
