Sabacc is the new Gwent with how in-depth and addictive it is. I just got the game yesterday, and I love it. Wanting to be as good as I was with Gwent 😂

I must say i like Star Wars Outlaws very much
Because i didn't know if full price was worth it, i took 1 month Ubisoft+ to play this game

And in the beginning i didn't like it very much, but after you go into space the first time, it grew on me

And now i must say i really like it

You can sneak into the crimson dawn table in kijimi, there’s a place to grapple onto the ledge to the left side of the door, also there’s only 1 sylop per family, so if you have 1 sylop then it’s not possible for someone else to beat your hand with a pure sabacc as there is only 1 more sylop left for the entire round

Indeed, Sabacc is for me also the most fun minigame for as long i can remember playing minigames. Born in the sixties ;P

Good tips! As a note, there are only 2 Sylops in the deck, so if you have one of them then the Sylop + 1 hand is the highest, and the worst that can happen (outside of Shifts) is that you tie.

Just wanted to say is that if you have a sylop in your hand, no one else can have a double (pure) sylop since there are only 1 sylop in each deck 1 red 1 yellow. so if both of you have a sylop and a 1 you would tie, you could never lose the only way you would lose if you had a sylop and a 2 and he had a sylop and a 1, or a shift token of slyop worth 0 points that would be the only time you lose a sylop + 1

Super helpful video thanks! Is there a limit to how many times you can use Nix to cheat? I had turned that minigame off so i couldnt fail it, but the first time we played when I used Nix the 2nd time they became suspicious so it made me worried to use it more than once ever since.

My best 3 card combo for any high stakes Sabacc game: Reverse number values, force a player to pick a new hand, immunity from taxation

Its sooo easy to beat Sabacc with these 3

My fav/best 3 shift tokens especially for high stakes games:

Cook the books (reverse number value, higher is better so if u get 6&6 thats the best)

Force a player to draw a new hand

Immunity (protects you from being taxed chips for one round)

just remember if you want to dismissed a card it must be the same Color when you draw a new card. very important.

The AI players always use the same shift tokens. At Bosnok's table no AI player has a shift token to steal hands, so your worries were unwarranted.

There is only ONE sylop per suit. If you have, for instance, a sylop and a 1, no one can have a pure sabbac because that would require a second sylop of the suit that you have already. Therefore sylop and a one is unbeatable. (At Bosnok's table, because no one has a shift token to reverse the rank of sabbac.)

Couple of extras

You get your tokens refunded if you get Sabaac so don't refund unless you know you're going to lose.

Taxing players with few tokens at the start of a hand prevented them from drawing cards, nearly guaranteeing you wipe them out.

Watch what cards people are putting down. You can work out who has what really easily.

say what you will about this game, but it does have the best version of Sabacc.

I first thought I'd hate playing this, but once I had to ( at the space station to get one a refund at a vendor who got pummeled by the Empire), I actually started to enjoy it.

I dont understand the double draw mini game, what god damn button is it to fucking draw

i can't beat the game at the pykes table in akiva ,they give you a set of shift cards at the begining so you can't choose your own and every round I've played I got terrible rng and the npcs just seem to get amazing cards .

If you have a sylop, another player can't get double sylop. there are only two sylops in the game (one per deck)

It’s not the best Star Wars game I’ve played but it’s not bad as people making out I’m starting to like it
