ОтветитьThanks for posting this video.
Ответитьtbh I can live with the 0.01 tolerance. But very nice to include an alternative method instead of a fillet
Ответитьfirst time trying out a CAD program , thanks for the tutorial :)
ОтветитьLearning a lot!!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial - clear, concise step by step. Love it.
ОтветитьThis was a great tutorial, thank you very much
ОтветитьJeff, you are a legend. Thank you! I normally muddle my way through new software but FreeCAD has a steeper than average learning curve. This 16min intro had everything I needed to get my part drawn but regardless I will be working my way through all your FreeCAD tutorial videos!
ОтветитьI have to tell you this. I've been trying all day to draw an object in OnShape and then FreeCad and FINALLY got it done (using FreeCad) after watching this video. Even saved it as a STL file so I can print it on my Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro!!! Thank you so much, you made it so simple! LOL...I'm also 73yr old!
ОтветитьI followed everything you said in the video up until selecting the select polyline tool. I cannot draw any lines, it just changes the orientation of the planes. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. FreeCad seems way more complicated to start designing a part than Inventor or SolidWorks. Am I missing something? I'm using version 0.21.2
Ответитьmany many thanks It is really amazing
ОтветитьHi just some feedback: While I appreciate you taking the time to make this tutorial, It's very hard to see any text as you've recorded this on an ultrawide monitor. A 16:9 video will be far more helpful, so absolute beginners with standard 16:9 monitors can actually see whats going on. I had to stop watching as I was getting eye strain.
Ответитьjust downloaded 21 not the same as this tutorial.
Not helpful
by far the best Freecad tutorial - concise and to the point - thanks
ОтветитьThis is by far the best FreeCAD tutorial I have watched. Clear and concise and covers all the important stuff in minimal time.
ОтветитьJeff I’m learning so much off ur videos but I can’t move the part around like u can. Any ideas y
ОтветитьThe best way of explanation highly simplified
ОтветитьThank you very much. Your explanation was very informative and complete. It solved my problem.
Ответитьthat's a nice tutorial!
ОтветитьI'm starting to get it, but god I miss AutoCad
ОтветитьBravo!
ОтветитьAn excellent tutorial which shows some of the great tools embedded in the Parts Design workbench - thank-you!
Ответитьawesome! thanks
ОтветитьI have watched many of these tutorials, I will say yours are top Notch. Thank You.
Ответитьthis was very helpful, thanks
ОтветитьThanks a lot for the guidance man!
ОтветитьQuality. Teeny thing, you said keyboard, I think you were trying to say numpad.
ОтветитьI'm stuck. I drew a slab. I was done for a while, so I closed the program. I want to put some holes in it. Now when I open it, I can't get the drawing tools to show up. 😕
ОтветитьVery helpful for a first time user. Thanks!
Ответить10th time's a charm. I finally got it. Now to see if I duplicate it without instructions.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial!! To bad the resolution is so poor. It's really hard to make out the icons that you are working with.
ОтветитьSound qualty, video quality, and explanations are all well exceptional. Thank you
ОтветитьThis was super helpful, FreeCAD has a bit of a steep learning curve
ОтветитьHmm faster use 19,999😊
ОтветитьGreat video! I was able to model my first part and print it!!
ОтветитьThis is awesome. Took a few goes to get the 'fillet' at the end. Pity fillet doesn't allow touching as quite complex to make a semicircle in comparison.
One thing to note: I found it useful to see the Constraint and Elements windows while I was following along to make sure I was following along correctly but they weren't always visible.
It was great that you walked through with the drawing too.
A question does anyone know why my line drawing is not visible on the screen there is also a delay in response to the mouse
ОтветитьJeff!! U r the Man! I really appreciate your patience and step-by-step explanation. I'm 55 yrs old, very motivated to reach a goal and you have been a real game changer. Thank you and really looking forward to more content! Ben
Ответитьthank you for you video. very informative and helpful with my first cad project.
ОтветитьI watched other tutorials in spanish and english and this one is the most useful one. I will continue the series. Thanks!
ОтветитьJeff this is SUPER useful Thanks Very much !
ОтветитьVery clear explanation of how to start a part from first step to the end. Best tutorial I've ever seen! Thanks for the clarity.
ОтветитьI thinkt the title should be, Advanced Beginner Tutorial.
Ответитьexcellent tutorial. You have been extremely helpful in getting me started with this tool.
ОтветитьUseful :) I was able to follow along. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery informative, thank you. I'll have to try and learn FreeCAD before Fusion 360. Subscribed. Thank you again.
