I've been arguing with people about Stockton on Facebook. They don't have a lot of basketball knowledge. I think Stock is underrated. I have him as the number 3 PG behind Magic and Isiah.

The #1 reason Stockton gets zero respect is because of his skin color. Plain and simple.

"Dirtiest player?" That's the battle cry of guys who weren't good enough to play at Stockton's level. Dirty players, I refer you to Detroit Pistons. Stockton never tried to hurt you physically, just mentally, and that's not dirty. That just makes him better than you, so stop your whinning

SIXTEEN SEASONS he played all 82 games. 7 YEARS IN A ROW he started every single game and in that span averaged the most assists in the NBA every year!! The all-time leader in steals and assists and likely no one will ever come close to either record. He was a machine

As a Rockets fan since the twin towers era, I have no problems admitting that John Stockton is the best pg of all time. As much as I despise the Jazz (solely because of playoff rivalry), I can't knock the tenacity in which he played the game.

Haha Durant and Lebron at an advanced age 2 years ago and both are still dominating. Exercise science is so good. This is why you Americans general public Americans age so fast what you call Advanced age us exercise scientists call peak. 40s is youth now. Younger than 20s in a fit person in the 80s. 90s is an Advanced age not 34 and 38 at the time when they are prime haha Sad perception

It seems that Stockton's overall IQ, not only successful improvisation in games, was really high. Because he was preparing himself years ahead of coming to prominence by any chance to stay there.
🍺🍺🍺🍺
So that's basically like Kobe Bryant, but learning new things five years before they actually might happen.
😂😂😂😂

Weird thing is, I don’t remember too many John Stockton commercials or endorsements. Malone either. Is it because they felt they were too good to make a couple bucks like everyone else? Or maybe the companies knew nobody liked them.
