That hurricane came through here last night (louisiana). I’m currently without power, so I’m sitting in my car. Came out here in the dark, just to recharge my phone and watch Terri! LOL! We do have a generator, so hubby will get that going once the sun comes up. Luckily (this time) the storm brought through some slightly cooler air, so the temp is pleasant. We are stocked with food, fuel and fun, so things are going to be okay. Unfortunately, it’s my excuse to eat junk food. But - it will be okay. I know what I need to do once we have power again.

Awwwwww, the 4 fur babies went to boarding? Do they do alright there? My dogs never did. I always had to look for a babysitter that would come to my home. With my two current babies, since I adopted them as seniors, I won't board or let anyone sit them. They've been traumatized enough. My husband said, we'll just sacrifice vacations until they're gone. We got them when they were just 10 years old, and now they are 13. They generally live to 15 yrs old. And , I really don't mind at all.

What kind of facility do you work at? I know you said you were like an administrator over a team of nurses. Is it a hospice type facility? And you guys do a lot of meetings, and conferences, and now you are doing a trip. That's a lot of side stuff, over and above your normal work. But then again, I'm not sure what exactly it is you do. I know. I'm being nosey.

Wow, that hotel is like a really nice apartment. I'm curious about the bag of Wilde potato chips. Are they low carb? Do you ever feel exhausted with the meal planing? I do only because, I plan meals for my self and husband. Also for my sons which they are over for dinner a lot. 😂
