I’d take a machine gun modified with antitank bullets, a device that activates an EMP, and a shotgun for close quarters on the Sentinels.

As numerous as the Sentinels are, I am surprised supervillains don't hijack them for their plots all the time. The only ones who have done that are Onslaught and Kang the Conqueror.

The size of the Sentinels had been inconsistent throughout the years, in Xmen TAS, they are 20 meters tall, Marvel/Capcom fighting games they are small

The Sentinels in Days of Future Past are not actual Sentinels, but mass produced Nimrods

i keep forgetting that xmen are the original attack on titans
sentinels are titans wanted to destroy mutants

It wouldve been noice if the same "oh our creation rebelled against us" stopped being a plotpoint cuz its old , not many explore the "Infamous Second Son" type story.

My favorite model of the sentinels was from evolution, they just looked so cool to me.

the real threat to mankind isn't mutants, its yourselves, your hatred and fear of anything different

so crazy that the Bolivar Trask brother is Simon Trask
as in Simón Bolívar Libertador de América.

Later, a nephew of Trask goes to Ecuador
to gain control of a group of sentinels there.

I imagined the Sentinels would have been built solely to “defeat the mutant threat” and Trask forgot program human safety as a priority leading them to attack mutants with no regard for collateral damage

Xavier manages to mentally effect Sentinels, UHHH BULLSHIT!!!! x-men legends taught me robot enemies (sentinels included) were basically immune to Mental based attacks

Trask: "You CAN'T do this, you're supposed to protect humans FROM mutants"!
Master Mold: "THAT is illogical, mutants ARE human, therefore humans have to be protected from THEMSELVES"!

So I guess Charles Xavier can affect robotic “minds” as well?!

Sentinels would be interesting to see in the MCU but I wish Marvel really focused more on their alternate timelines as well like the Age Of Apocalypse and Days Of Future Past exploring the different universes including the Marvel Noir Universe which is talked about by The Watcher and was created by the Celestials

Days of Future Past is my favourite X-Men movie.

Fun fact: every time Logan faces a sentinel, he mostly slices off their heads.

So basically the sentinels are rasict robots created by an equally rasict man...says alot how the world has worked then compared to how it works now, it's a shame though how people will always find a way to make one person or one type of person look like the bad guy even if they've done nothing wrong

I, of course, was raised on the Fox X-men version of things, so it surprises me that not only did Trask die so quickly, but that the Sentinels rebelled almost immediately.

the Sentinels, while cool, always seemed like a stupid idea for a peace keeping army when their sheer size alone made them impossible to police without causing massive property damage and harm to the public, thats like giving traffic cops Monster trucks to police the highway, it would only cause more harm then good XD
