I have owned the real Detonics Combat Master .45. The reason they put the rear sight more forward
was to allow for easy one handed hammer cocking.

Thanks for the review. I had to sell all my guns, including my Detonics Combat Master .45, after
a personal tragedy back in 2012. Sadly I am noit in a position to consider buying an authentic
Detonics Combat Master now as I am handicapped and live on a low disability income.

I may consider buying this air pistol if the price is reasonable. Do you know if the plastic grips are removable?
I would like to replace them with authentic Detonics grips.

The reason the rear sight is so far forward and the space where it would normally be is cut out is actually so that it's easier to cock the hammer on the draw.

Do Tokyo Marui mags for 1911s work in this?
