I just want to add one more tip for new players: don't pull for Inazuma characters, or even if you pulled them, don't make them your main DPS for the time being. The reason: Inazuma is a locked region that only unlocked when you start Inazuma archon quest, which I believed, also locked behind AR level. Even with the area unlocked, some character ascension materials are very hard to collect if you haven't done Inazuma's world quests chain and will get knocked by the non-stop lightning.

Im a new player but I do know some things bcs I just got a phone that can handle the game lol

I've just reinstalled it and remembered why I stopped, 4 full teams of lvl 90, all with as good of artefacts as you can get without farming months for an upgrade, talents maxed, no need to use any resin, I guess I just pick a fully new set of characters to level up since i havent played since the release of the first eula banner and i saw that the character roster is more then double since i played last time. Can't wait to try out the new story, which imo is mihoyos strong point.

I just wanted to ask for help as my act 1 of the Liyue archon quest is glitched. It tells me to meet with the moon carver at Wangshu inn, but I don't find him there. Is this because I illegally entered Inazuma?

I played this game for like 2 weeks when it first came out (when I say played I mean I played for 30hrs straight the first time I opened the game) but got burnt out quickly and never thought to try again, I’m updating the game right now and I’m gonna give it another go

The gacha aspect is the bane of my existence. Started during dehya banner, got her and diluc. Ofc I lvled both up. After that I got Ayaka and shenhe... So I got those 2 lvld up.. After reaching sumeru I burned out a bit and took a break, but before that I got Nahida. Didn't lvl her as I took a break right after. Now I started again 7 days ago and hold tight.. I got Mona, Jean, Hu Tao and that Homa Spear..

now guess who is clueless about what to play, not having resources and now struggling with even just doing weekly bosses 😂 if not for Ayaka burst, I probably wouldn't get anywhere anymore 😑

The reason i quit playing genshin was because there wasn't alot to do anymore. Artifact grinding always seemed repetitive and wasn't rlly needed once you had a single dps character. Every update just adds more land to look for chests and a new character you most likely will never get. Plus there are so many areas now if you wanna try 100% its just gonna feel even more repetitive and overwhealming.

Character builds are also very complicated and often find myself grinding a character for a month and getting nowhere. What should i do? I really like the game (Having put 1000 hours into the game) But im just lost in what i should do to make the game enjoyable again.
