I recommend that people see the movie Billy the Kid versus Dracula. Very well done film
ОтветитьExcellent. Thanks
ОтветитьThink it’s pretty clear that Billy, the kid actually survived and lived out his life in Texas into old age as brushy Bill
ОтветитьVery good video thanks 😊
ОтветитьI am from the UK and love the story of Billy the Kid. I watched many accounts of his story and they all seemed to contradict each other at various points and left you wondering what really happened. This by far the most detailed and believable account I have seen and love the way it was told. When I was young the stories and films always portrayed Billy as a ruthless killer and while he was obviously no angel, I now see him as a young man who was loyal to those who treated him well and was doing the best he could in what were violent times.
ОтветитьThe best documentary I've ever seen. Well done
ОтветитьShit your history of anything fuckin sucks
ОтветитьThats not a real picture fuckin bullshit
ОтветитьVERY WELL DONE, SIR!
ОтветитьMan I gotta get down to lincoln county one of these days.
ОтветитьBilly kid was an outlaw and a killer , and the scherif killid him .
ОтветитьLook at Brushy Bill Roberts and tell me that it looks like Billy the Kid doesn't look anything like him
ОтветитьTo them right & wrong was definite. So much wrong, lost their sense of conscience
ОтветитьPony Express lasted 6 months, communication turned to telegraph, interesting times though sad decisions made
ОтветитьMuch liked by his community
ОтветитьOr fearful and looking for the way out of circumstances
ОтветитьMore than 1 way to visualize situations
ОтветитьUsually people earned money if they could, PE paid well
ОтветитьAnd he did have connectivity to community
ОтветитьIm supposing
ОтветитьBankers life!
ОтветитьToo easy to tarnish family names
ОтветитьRichardson I believe died in OK
ОтветитьNew Mexico is one of the least boring states on the planet
ОтветитьYou cant imagine....
ОтветитьLolol, Bob
ОтветитьJerry is a real spellbinder story teller, 👍
ОтветитьBilly the kid isn't dead.
ОтветитьMr. Jerry Skinner you cannot be sure that photograph is of the right person. Could be a photograph taken of Calamity Jane when she was younger instead.
ОтветитьGreat documentary; very insightful and informative, thank you!
ОтветитьIf that first picture was Billy standing, he looks identical to Emilio Estevez in Young Guns. That would be something wouldn't it?
ОтветитьI read somewhere the Billy's original headstone along with most of the military cemetery head stones were washed away from when the Pecos river flooded and washed them away. So his true grave location is not truly known.
ОтветитьMr. Skinner you are so lovely to listen to, I appreciate all of the details you add in, I am never once lost or need to pause and go back to catch something. I showed this to my parents and they are watching all of your videos. What a great tour guide you are to a snapshot of the past. Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful videos. 🐈
ОтветитьHowever it has been said that Billy was not the one shot their that night but a young man who was hanging around Billy it been said Billy saw the deputy first and sent the young Mexican boy in to ask who the gentleman were and that’s who was shot a Man later on in 1937 was identified in a hospital bed with the same body markings and scars as Billy was said to have told the Dr I’m Billy the kid
ОтветитьYou tell a good story.
ОтветитьWhat happened to his brother I would love to know??
ОтветитьWhat would u say if there was another picture that might prove the first picture you posted was billy standing with his brother? And matches the mothers face as well..we need to talk somehow??
ОтветитьLet’s be honest, if Billy the kid had been black he would be seen in a totally different light and despised instead of admired.
ОтветитьKatherine, not Kathleen
ОтветитьYou should really double check all so called facts. It is a solid FACT that Bells revolver was still in his holster when he died. Plus in recent years it has been proven that Bell was shot at the top of the stairs.
ОтветитьNo pictures of the dead body of the most famous/notorious outlaw ever? Yeah right! Maxwell gave him alot of money and Garrett told him get lost and don't come back.
ОтветитьThe infamous Billy the Kid killed a bully blacksmith, then murdered a sheriff and two deputies. Way to go, Billy!
ОтветитьBilly the kid was nothing more than a murdering thug, same sa Jesse James, Hollywood has made them into heroes, go figure.
ОтветитьThe documentary is very well done. Love how you add legitimate pictures as well. Adds a lot of substance to the video. Subscribed and liked. Keep up the good work brother
ОтветитьThe two Dolen men who were the first to be killed by the Regulators were MORTON and Baker. Not MORGAN. The Regulator that was killed at that time was McCluskey. Pete Maxwell's sister was PAULITA, not PAULETTA. The old Indian woman who dressed Billy for burial was DULVINA, not DULVANA. Billy testified against Dolen for the death of Houston Chapman, a lawyer whom Susan McSween had hired after Alex McSween was dead... long after Billy worked for Dolen... if he ever did.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьBloody great show mate
ОтветитьI thoroughly enjoyed this - thank you.
ОтветитьDear Mr. Jerry. I wanted to write and let you know how much your videos mean to me. I discovered your videos about a year ago while researching Wyatt Earp. About the same time, my father in law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He and I shared a love for the Wild West and all of the heroes that go along with that time. I would visit my father in law every Wednesday and Friday to sit with him and visit. Some time during those visits I mentioned your videos to him and he said, lets check one out. Well, that started a weekly tradition for us where upon entering his house he’d say, “what’s Jerry got for us today?” We’d listen , drink coffee and sit. Eventually my father in law was confined to the bed as his illness progressed but we continued our tradition of my visits and listening to a Jerry video. Towards the end when he could no longer talk and was in a great deal of pain, I still played your videos on my phone and he seemed to calm down. He died December 29th , 2021. I’ll never forget our special visits during that last year and thank you for making such great videos that brought a little peace to a couple of old cowboy buddies. Take care sir and God bless.
