Can you create a beast tactics with a regista

Amazing tactic! I am actually tinkering with a similar shape myself. For the offensive shape I was experimenting with giving both DMs a defensive role, and then moving the central centre back to CM as a roaming playmaker. This gives 5 bodies (2-1-2) in central midfield, hopefully helping play through the middle and trapping the opposition in the stuffed centre of the pitch when defending.

Does it make a big difference to replace the deep lying playmaker with a ball winning midfielder?

This is an amazing recreation, really been enjoying watching Xabi's Leverkusen lots of exciting stuff! I do have to ask though when doing these recreations how do you know what roles to pick for players in the tactic you're trying to recreate?

Tactics suggestion: as a footballer from the 90s traumatised by Germany 1996 😵‍💫 would love to see a Libero Attack system that works (Mathhias Sammer). i know people say it is outdated in the era of pressing, but as De Zerbi shows, drawing the Press with deep defenders is an effective strategy. Seen 2 decent tactics on FM sites for the LIB-AT, but would love your insights on this. Hoddle's 352 was brilliant and had he worked with Ferdinand in the 2000s am convinced he would have used him in a LIBERO-AT role. Beckham and Anderton on the right often interchanged. The key problem comes with a 1-up-front opponent. Zonal i find works best for this. But where to place the central midfielders is where i struggle on this 1. Had reasonable success using Angelo Fulgini as a LIB-AT but most his assists came from set pieces.

Thank you for your tactics. I notice on the video the player instructions for the 2 AMs is different on the download to what you added in the video? You added 'roam from position' to both AMs but that's not on the download version?

AI in FM 23 is obviously smarter, despite we use this tactic at 10 times. And we got easily read by our oppsition. And our team, despite training 10 times with same formation. They never get familiarity or chemistry into our tactic. Thats irony i think.
