How do you get around the wetland environmental rules and restrictions, Chris? Here in Maine if there are cattails it’s automatically a wetland and sacred territory.

You’re right that sand is heavy. It’s lifting the back end of the excavator like it’s nothing.

My thought on the project is the property owner is spending money to get the project property value elevated substantially. In the end, with the increase of the value, it will rise substantially!!! Excellent decision having Chris do the project, it is done properly...

The Carolinas= deredging ponds to handle all the water. Bonneville Floodplain= Moving all the boulders dropped from glaciers and the meltwater floods. Excavators with thumbs abd the dumpers that support them are probably the most versatile dirt moving combination ever invented for dirt moving. Dig a barrow pit, throw in ashes or stone, fill with rootiy/ gravelly topsoil and overlay with the clean stuff for a nice finish or farm field.
