All these refugees are not sustainable. They should never be allowed to enter another country unless they have applied and been accepted. I live in Canada and we too have an immigration problem and our corrupt government is letting anyone in without being vetted properly. As such, crime is up, our taxes are up to support them, our health care system is at the brink and it is becoming more and more unaffordable to live in Canada.

All things considered it's not a bad thing for Europe to reform in a more secure union. For far too long we let important dossiers like defence , beaurocracy and immigration to rot without being spoken of and dealt with. I personally was anti-EU for a lot of time,but the more I learnt about the history of my country and other European countries ,and about EU itself, the more I came to understand that either we Europeans work and fight together or we'll fail together and die alone.
This doesn't mean we don't need to change something in Europe but Europe needs to live on, to become adult and start playing the game of the giants with the other Great Powers. The EU is mostly controlled by the northern countries, Germany, France, the Netherlands... The Mediterranean countries of Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal have different economies. It would make sense for Italy to partner up with the other Mediterranean countries to create a solid block that operates in their own economic interests. Cutting off the northern countries from the Mediterranean would give them a bargaining chip. The EU is a corrupt government that works against the interest of the European citizens. They're flooding Europe with immigrants that bring nothing but the need for welfare. It seems the long-term goal of the EU and the US are to create a completely socialist economy where the elite get to live in extreme wealth while us commoners live like peasants. The future looks a lot like Downton Abbey with the rest of us in the basement or paying rent to the landlords, while The EU Parliament owns everything.
