I think this season has hammered home how much Sullivan holds back this club. We had a chance to appoint a high level manager and he went cheap. And what happened this season is what happens. He got lucky with Moyes but that’s a one off. Potter looks out of his depth.
ОтветитьWe certainly have had some awful times but right now the whole heart is being eroded by these embarrassing owners, I’m not confident that it will ever return to the way it was but the true fans will survive even though in diminishing numbers ⚒️
ОтветитьAn old saying was when the team is playing poorly , "It might be shit but it's our shit"!..
ОтветитьTotally disagree with you both we've never been spanked under Potter 1 goal either way lopategi and moyes were shocking some of the games have been good jmo 60 years a hammer. Owners are shocking AGAIN
ОтветитьLovely work as always Gary thank you for your hard work ⚒️
ОтветитьThis has been the worst season. Even though we didn't get relegated, we are so much in the red zone of it, we're feeling the heat like a Robert Palmer song, except we do not like it so hot when coming within the radius of it. I am all for offloading SMART, getting some new blood transfusions in the transfers that turn out to be just the ticket, but at this point it's just batty what we're doing. Getting rid of Soucek instead of other players who have had ball-and-chain, vomit inducing "performances"? Potter better be the next coming somehow next season. They say give till Christman, I had Thanksgiving, but now, I'm giving him the first four games generously. This can't possibly sustain without Soucek, the guy isn't my favorite, but he brings home bacon when we need it.
ОтветитьPs - agree that this is the worst season and that’s out of 54!

ОтветитьIt's been the most boring season by far . The club needs to be sold and I strongly suspect that isn't far away. Sullivans many things and none are good but thick he isn't. He's at the end of the road at whufc and he knows it . Either he's going to jump or gold kretinsky and trips Smith will pull the carpet from underneath him and sell there shares to the Americans.
ОтветитьWas at the Frankfurt game, take it from me there was nearer 45 thousand in the ground. The turnstile operators earned a fortune that night.
ОтветитьI haven’t seen many games for donkeys years. But I do remember seeing some teams in the 70’s, 80’s & early 90’s thinking, wow, this is beautiful football to watch - occasionally it wasn’t. But mostly beautiful football. These days you just get glimpses of it, occasionally. Mostly it’s very unattractive to watch
ОтветитьTalking of 5 star I'm sure I saw them signing autographs and promoting their album at Woolworths in Romford when I was a kid. Could someone confirm if this happened as its slightly blurry being so young.
Ответитьsome people have short memories, the 91/92 season was far worse with relegation and the Bond scheme demonstrations
ОтветитьWhat a daft headline. 1988 anyone? David Kelly up front, Gary Strodder at centre half and Allen McKnight in goal. Relegated. 2003? Relegated. 2011? Relegated.
ОтветитьNo, Gary - I've seen us relegated 5 times!
ОтветитьCheers as always gents⚒️
ОтветитьI think the title should be is this the worst season to be a West Ham supporter since we moved to the London Stadium and even then that first season when we lost Payet was pretty poor with lots of cheap players brought in
ОтветитьYou sound like us under moshiri bad owners can kill your love for the club hopefully we've got it right with the new owners and an actual stadium designed for football
ОтветитьI'll be picking up my pension next month and support of West Ham has run through my families veins as far back as my grandad so ive seen my fair share of poor West Ham teams in my time but in all that time i've never been bored by our football until this season, we should change our colours from claret and blue to beige.
ОтветитьEarly 80s was the best Jam Madness Depeche Specials Kim Wilde Ian Dury squeeze boomtown rats Dexys to name a few
ОтветитьGood point @markbish56 91/92 the year of mitchell thomas, mike small, struggled in fa cup games against farnborough twice and wrexham, the bond scheme and then relegation hence missing out as a founder member of the new premier league, and regarding new ownership premier league clubs will never again be bought by local born and bred football fans, its a global corporate league now and forever going forward
ОтветитьI am 66 and seen some pretty crap West Ham teams ...but none with this talent (excluding Soucek, JWP & Kilman) that are this boring. Boring is the word I would use. We are THE most boring team to watch. But premier league is getting boring all round. Prefer watching Championship games tbh.
ОтветитьPalace athletic stadium getting redeveloped 🤔 we getting brought out n buying the stadium
ОтветитьSeen at least 5 relegations so no nowhere near the worst season ever but the most boring by far 👍🏼
ОтветитьYes : ) ( smiley face ) EAGLES FA cup winners.
ОтветитьThe worst season in 56 years for me lads . I just can't keep watching this shit I'm done . I love west ham but lets be honest it's never been the same since we left Upton Park ⚒️
ОтветитьRelegated with 42 points from 38 games and a talented squad that contained Paolo Di Canio, Joe Cole, David James, Jermain Defoe, Trevor Sinclair, Micharl Carrick, Glen Johnson, Freddie Kanoute, Lee Bowyer. Tomas Repka, Ian Pearce, Don Hutchison, Rufus Brevett, Sebastian Schemmel, Nigel Winterburn, Christian Dailly, Edouard Cisse, Scott Minto, Steve Lomas and Les Ferdinand ........That was our worst season to be a supporter!!!
ОтветитьNo, not worst ever
ОтветитьSooo wrong .. the worst season I can remember is getting relegated with 42 points .
ОтветитьNot been the worse ever, Roeder, avram, lou macari all more depressing, it has been the worst ever at the bowl without doubt. Just glad to see the back of it. Thanks for keeping our morale up doing the shows Gary and team ⚒️
