AirFit F30 Mask Fitting and Review. Best Full Face Mask?

What pillow is that?

Is there only 2 sizes? I have a very large head and am afraid that I need a large lol

F30 is the best of 4 I've used. No pain on bridge of nose.

Maybe a dumb question but when I get up in the night I usually get a drink of water. Now I am having to do a partial mask removal. If I had a straw in a glass could the straw go through that port in the front?

Feels like it's squeezing my nose shut. Wish it was more like the Philips Amaraview.

What happened to mask bright?

I really want to use this mask as it is very comfortable, but I get this slight air leak on the upper left side and hits my eye. I tried all adjustments and it will not stop. I have the medium size, should I get the large?

I recently tried this mask and it is pretty good but I have a medium mask and it felt like it was closing off my nostrils. I would wake up having trouble breathing with it. other than very comfortable and i was hoping it would work for me. The mask i have had for years was not available when i went to the dme to get a new machine so this mask was the closest thing they had to what i was using. I may not have given it enough time as all masks have that sweet spot with the straps. I think if i played with it enough i might be able to get it to work. But back to the tried and true mask for me. If this works for you it is going to be very comfortable.

The cushion separates from the shell and is difficult to reattach. Suggestion?

I took the Frame apart today to clean it and now it's leaking. It won't reconnect and I'm so irritated right now. How is something this expensive so cheap?

Jason, your nose is still not "level", that was a "ruler".

I cannot change the cushion easily. Very difficult.

I cannot breath through my nose. What do I do??

I tried this last night on 17, vcomm, it was good compared to f20 (top nose leaks like no tomorrow)

I bought this mask and it's been a blessing in much more comfy sleep the only problem is the headgear strap tends to rub my ear space between my head raw I know all profiles are diffrent but I will continue to wear my f-30 great video and explination.

I just got this. First, it was very comfortable last night, but there is NO air that comes out like all others. Isn't the CO supposed to escape? Also, I took the mask piece off to wash it and I can't get it back on, so no CPAP tonight.

Has anyone had any nose irritation with this mask especially under the nose. I just seem to can’t fall asleep with this mask and i revert back to my F20. I feel as if i can get over the initial under the nose irritation i and fall asleep i can use this mask and get used to it. Does anyone have any suggestions or have experienced the same issues? I happen to have a full beard too and was told my my local VA that this is the best mask for someone with a beard. Thank you!

Using this mask for 3 days. I cannot get the nose to seal above pressure 11. Frustrating as it wakes me up. I need some ideas

I wish it came in the same sizes as the F30i.

I thought I was the small for the F30 - and like you, I struggled to breathe. It was an awful fit and I never seemed to be able to line the nose holes up so I was getting enough air. Will order the medium size cushion and hope that does the trick cos I’m done with struggling with leaks with the F20!

I had ahard time with the F20 because I am a side sleeper. After many nights of an average 3 hrs of sleep, I got the F30 in medium but it leaked a lot. I next got the F30 small and it hurt my nose. I guess I am somewhere in btween the two sizes. Aside from making it more tight do you have any suggestions? I was SO So tired that last night I again wore the F20 and used 2 headbands to secure the top and bottom from leaks. It was very tight, actually cut into my face but I got a full nights sleep after about 2 months. Seems like it should not be this difficult. Going to keep trying until I figure it out.

Any advice for getting used to using this? I’m new to sleep apnea and ha I g trouble sleeping with a mask on

That's a ruler, not a level...

I don’t know if anyone else has this issue but the mask always leaks from the top right above my nose. Also always wake up with my mouth so dry my tongue is stuck to the top of my mouth. Even when I’m using the water

This is what I use. I do feel restricted at times but I do like it. What’s the best setting for the moisture side of CPAP?

I hate how heavy the hose is..do they make a lightweight coupling tube for this mask

Can you cut the divider between the nasal passages. My Amara view had just 1 hole for breathing instead of 2. Much better air flow and breathing was a breeze. (Sorry about the pun). Please let me know if you know. I prefer not to experiment with my new cushion. 😤 😴 👍

I’m getting a lot of leaking on my nose. Wondering if I need a small I have a medium mask

I'm tying to figure out a way to use the Humidx F20 with the F30 mask, since there is not a travel Humidifier option for that mask yet. I'm doing an alpine winter backpacking trip.. so I can't rely on AC power. I chopped one up in an attempt to make it work, since the fitting is so similar. The shape of the F30 mask just made it impossible. I'm currently using two small velcro pieces to hold it in place. i suppose some air can move around the humidifier, rather then being forced through it. but.. something is better than nothing right? any suggestions? any tips would be welcome. i hear the HumidxF30 is in the works, but nothing is available at the moment. is there an option that i can use further down the hose? I'm using a resmed 11. plannign to use the unit with a humidity chamber plug, to bypass the humidity.

The current sizing chart doesn't look anything like the one you're showing, and I still cannot tell what size I need. Can you please just say where to measure (even this video doesn't make it clear where to start and stop the ruler), and equate that to the ResMed sizes?

I recently changed to f30 and I’ve had some good nights where I did not constantly wake with dry mouth but others not so much.

Hello and thank you so much for your channel. I am currently using the Respironics Amara View but it hurts the top of my head as I have to cinch it so tight so that the side straps don't slide down and cut into the top of my ears. I think you had the same problem when you reviewed the Amara. Is the ResMed F30 a better fit?

Thank you. The thing that gives me trouble with this model is the headgear. The part that rests on the top of my head does not want to stay over my head. Whether more snug or less snug, the top part slips towards the front of my head and sometimes drops over my forehead. Argghh. Thanks for the video though. It does help.
