What I like to say:
"I am not going to read your minds. That's for three reasons: 1) People sometimes try to think about a different card to throw me off. 2) I don't want to read too much of your mind as some of it may be private. 3) I can not actually read your mind. However, the cards would never lie to me." Then I place my palm on the deck of cards that may lies on the table or still in their hands.
Depending on the spectator, I adjust my reasons a bit to make it a bit funnier, like "I will not read your mind, because I don't want to see what's in there." or "I will not read your mind, because you know that would be too easy for me."

What happens if spectator cuts deck on a half and then takes bottom card before putting half of deck on the other half. It messed the whole deck... What can magican do in that case? Please reply ty

What would happen if the did a center cut of the deck. That will not affect the trick?

Isnt it technically possible to cut it weird and throw one card out of order? Or no cuz the last card cycles back to the first card?

Spreading the deck to show the faces can lead to people noticing that the cards are red-black-red-black, etc. The actual values look random, but I've been called out before for the red/black order. If you must do it, do it fast and show the faces in small groups.

After trying this the friend i was showing it to saw that the deck was in red-black order.

When I was watching the performance I literally just thought of the 5 of diamonds randomly in my head and that was the one you chose - maybe I really do have mind-reading powers!!

I really like this trick. My only concern is if the spectator incorrectly cuts the cards and messes up the stack. The magician will have no way of knowing if that happens.

Here’s a tip. Don’t say anything like “just cut it a bunch, it doesn’t really matter” or “cut it as much as you want”. Don’t even give them the option, or talk about shuffling or cutting. You should be doing it and then just give it to them and go straight to the behind the back part. Say something like “ put these behind your back and cut it once or twice and then pick the card”. A lot of the time people will just mess it up and you have to be careful how you word it
