Saw Shin Lim in Vegas last year. His performance was exceptional. Had 3rd row seats and couldn’t figure anything out.

I caught the 1st marker disappearance and the way he made the 2 marked cards disappear in the end, but I'm speechless for the rest.

I love that i can watch this frame by frame, and STILL not understand how everything was done.

Some magicians i'm impressed with things like "Oh, there was a 1 frame switch there, that's impossible to pick up on in real life because of how fast it was!"

Meanwhile some of these just have zero tells on how it was done, and i feel like that's one of the reasons (other than the incredible performance itself of course) that i keep coming back to this, just like "But.... HOW"

I've watched this performance normally, in slow mo, and in frame by frame at some points, and it's indisputable that this is mastership at work.

I got maybe 2 or 3 things like the smoke in the mouth (the second time), the marker (the first time) and the card in the plastic bag changing sides but the rest is pure magic

Crazy. The marker trick was the only one I think I caught. He puts it in his pocket all slick like while his hands collapse together. You can see him flick the marker backwards . I think? Nonetheless, I can't do it nor could I be that slick.

I get to see him in Vegas in two days. Front row and can't wait.
