New Next-Gen ARPG | The Ascent | Gameplay and Everything We Know So Far

As you mentioned the gameplay looks a lot slower and more tactical than diablo 3 and I REALLY hope that this will indeed be the case. As awesome as I think Diablo 3 with it‘s loot, classes and all these cool abilities is, I never could get into it because i didn‘t like the complete lack of challenge/threat in the moment to moment gameplay. Not sure if you‘re familiar with the game „curse of the Dead Gods“, it‘s an isometric action game as well and it is fairly difficult and I would love if this game could be somewhere inbetween that and Diablo III. Good Video mate and i‘m looking forward to you covering more of this game!

I have high hopes for this one here, reminds me a bit of alienation which was awesome. There is definitely a shortage of loot based isometric action rpgs out there right now, hopefully it will make its way to the PS5 as well.

As a Sony fan, this game has me the most hyped as far on the Xbox front. It looks awesome.

Same here. I'm either PlayStation or PC all the way. Currently I have a PC and was going to get rid of it for the PS5 but now I'm definitely keeping my computer after hearing yesterday about The Ascent. I haven't been this hyped for any game in maybe forever! Shit looks so sick

When is this going to release its still showing 2020

I always wanted a cyberpunk alien game after the cancellation of Prey 2, but I wish game developments stop doing birds eye view when they made something truly beautiful and interesting. Paragon shows the world about how devs could break the mold and deliver a unique game, in the ascent gameplay I see problems with the cover and landing shoots. If they change it more like paragon or outriders and some modifications to aiming it will gain more attention from gamers.

This looks interesting but... Borderlands was the only ARPG to break the sci-fi curse so far. Harbinger, Restricted Area, Space Siege, Greed: Black Border... played pretty much all of these and have encountered nothing bit disappointment. So... eh, we'll see
