I celebrate Halloween for first time 2 years ago in USA. It was awesome

as a lifelong NBC fan, the movie having an association with Christmas just means i have an excuse to watch it more than once during the holiday season, as far as i care i can watch as many times as i want from October 1st up until New Years Eve (or whenever bcs it’s just always a good movie to watch) that said i still wouldn’t call it a Christmas movie lmao

Funny story, I went into a horror house thing and I was scared of one thing. there were these white sheets hanging, they were hanged the was (with lighting) so that you could see if someone was behind it. No shadow/ silhouette was there, so I let my guard down. Suddenly a woke jumps out with a chainsaw, without even starting it, it started spinning. It was off not even a second ago. There were no speakers in there to imitate the sound of a chainsaw. So 10 year old me thought I was witnessing the most witchcraft that’s been used that year.

With the night before christmas i would always just watch it at christmas and halloween bc it was such a good movie

This sucks

i like every concept of halloween except for trick-or-treating specifically becuz i can't walk a lot due to disability, strobe lights fog machines and screams overstimulate me, and the reward is a bunch of candy that may or may not be safe to eat. I just dress up cuz I like to, buy some candy or popcorn, and have a horror movie marathon at home with friends =)

A campground I went to had a “haunted camper”, which is just a haunted house in a camper. And it was actually creepier than haunted houses. One part was themed as a butcher shop with body bags hanging from the roof, and the entrance was a child’s toy room, and a person dressed as a doll in all black sat on a toy chest silently watching.

Halloween is an excuse to visit Salem Massachusetts. (Knowing full well I went to Salem in the middle of June)

I think Halloween is just awkward. You walk around and ask people for candy in weird or cringy costumes.
