If I had a time machine, I would go back and... fix history by removing FDR from it entirely. The NFA is fucking obviously unconstitutional, blatantly fascistic and pointless. Democrats are evil, FDR was evil and there are MANY liberal fucks who are orgasming at the thought of taking our guns, or harassing gun owners with little chips and chops against our rights.

My friend the left is just waiting for our age group to die off. once it is nothing but the millennial generation guns will be gone. they are spineless and they don't care about having guns or not. They have no understanding of why they need guns or the second amendment.

How do we get to a point to have arguments heard for repealing these infringements? I mean it seems to me the Supreme Court will just refuse the case time and time again

I am a life long resident of California ( and planning my exit ). I urge you to take absolutely nothing for granted. Here in California the 2A has been absolutely gutted to the point in which we citizens can no longer order ammunition through the mail. We must purchase ammunition through a licensed dealer and pay for a background check each and every time. Gun parts and uppers will require backgroynd checks starting in 2023 I believe.
Sadly I do not trust my state govt. I sent the vast majority of my firearms to relatives who live in a very 2A friendly state thankfully.
I do not support either of the two main parties. I am a registered Libertarian so please know this isnt a rant against one particular party.
Once you lose a certain right such as one as important as 2A, its very hard to get back. Like many, my hope is for SCOTUS to step in and restore our constitutional rights. We are going into 2020 so we shall see.
If it can happen here it can happen there. Especially with so many Californians moving to other states and now we are seeing states such as Nevada and Colorado go blue snd many predict Arizona and Texas will be next.

I think the first thing that needs to be done is passing an HPA and getting national reciprocity. That would be a good lega victory but it would be an even more important victory in the culture war. Once people see that gun owners aren't so bad they'll stop blindly being so antigun. Antigun ideology in 99% of cases comes down to ignorance after all.

I totally agree regarding the NFA & Hughes Amendment. Hughes was the first time that the US government said you cannot do something regarding firearms. Prior (1934) they slyly choose to hide behind the taxation smoke screen. I do not believe in BANS nor taxing your rights. I do believe in reasonable, fair, and equitable regulations. I believe that the regulations should be focused on the person, not the firearm. I'd like to point out that I was a Class 3 federally licensed machinegun dealer for about 10 years. I have owned and fired machineguns and even tank cannons! I am also the founder of the WWII Historical Re-enactment Society, Inc. and a Life Member of the NRA. If the $200 was indeed just a tax then you should be able to just walk up buy your tax stamp and affix it to you ATF Form and move on. BATF requiring you to get an signature from a local police chief is an unfunded mandate. The Feds have no right to pass off this onto anyone but themselves. Perhaps after Biden becomes President and he gets your semi-auto rifle included under the National Firearms Act you will wake up and perhaps after another 4 million gun owners have to go through what us lawful MG users (I use my MGs for WWII re-enactments and film productions) the problems with the NFA might get fixed. When the Hughes Amendment was passed prices skyrocketed and now there are far more machineguns in circulation! (Nothing sells loving like something from the banning oven.) How could this be? Because those who very seriously collect machineguns just went and got manufacturer's licenses. I've felt a sore spot in my back because of Reagan and the NRA over Hughes ever since. You would think that the antigun folks would hold up the NFA as a model for what they want. For many decades being able to own a real firing machinegun was some sort of government secret. Most folks, even gun people, believe they are illegal. After all didn't Biden ask that of that auto worker the other day?

The NFA skirted a law, the Hughes amendment is an out right infringement. Not saying the NFA isn't either but it went right up to the line without technically Crossing it. ALL GUN LAWS ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!!!!!!!

This video was posted in Feb 2017. It is Aug 2020 as I type this. This is the first I've heard of either petition and I'm too late for the "Hughes" petition. Dangit.

The endless attacks on our 2A are a coordinated multi-generational agenda to disarm the American people ultimately culminating with enslavement. They can't do it in one shot(pun intended) so 2A is being chipped away piece by precious piece until it is gone forever.

If President Trump gets elected again, please push this movement again. I just recently became aware of a desire to repeal the NFA, and I know I can’t be the only one. I just signed the petition for the NFA repeal, I would’ve signed the second one if it was still active.

Guys I'm gonna be honest I'm really frustrated here. I mean I've asking for help on repealing the Hughes Amendment on all these major full auto gun channels and I'm getting little to no responses.

Whether it's the gun channels themselves or the people in the comments nobody seems to want to help me. The few times gun channels did response was either to tell me they couldn't help or even mock me. One guy freaking mocked me for wanting gun rights! He said for me to have Jesus help and that he didn't really care. What an asshole.

So what I'm trying to say is if anyone can help in anyway I'd appreciate it.

I got a plan to get rid of the hughes amendment. It's got a couple different parts so bear with me.

1. I think we need to go convince gun shops to boycott selling guns to the government including the military. Some gun companies have already started boycotting the police:

This has to be expanded upon.

2. Convince people to stop voting for anti-gun politicians. Ideally they should stop voting altogether since voting just doesn't work but they should at least stop voting for politicians that support gun control.

If the politicians are out of office they can't run anti-gun laws anymore.

3. Boycott gun businesses that support gun control like Machine Gun Vegas

Ruger might be worth boycotting too like Ruger who supported magazine capacity limits.

If a gun company supports gun control they ain't worth buying from.

4. Raise awareness buy making videos and other material against the hughes amendment. If gun activists would go to go shows and pass out pamphlets against the hughes amendment and other crap maybe more people would do the things this list about it.

5. Get more people into guns as a whole. If more people buy guns and use them for protection that would send the message that people are willing to hang on to them and not give them up.
