A Top-down Roguelite Where Your Previous Build Turns Into Backup | NIMRODS: GunCraft Survivor demo

Hello everyone! Another demo from the latest Steam Next Fest. This is NIMRODS: GunCraft Survivor, it is inspired by the bullet heaven genre, but it is not one of those. You still face hordes of enemies, level up and get to choose between 3 upgrades, BUT what you are doing here is changing your gun with each level up, which you will use to aim and shoot enemies (there is probably an auto-aim and auto-shoot mode, but I enjoyed it like this). Only that would be fun enough for some people, for me it would have been only a 20 minutes fun, but the best part came after the run. This game counts with quite a unique mechanic, where the weapon you crafted by leveling up during a run can be used by a companion drone during your next run, which would mean that your previous self would turn into a bullet heaven ally, which is pretty cool. I am not really sure, but it looked like you could save multiple guns (or sell them if you didn't like them), but only use one per run. There is also a pretty interesting meta-progression system, with challenges, upgrades and new weapons.

Anyways, I enjoyed this one a lot, even when I usually don't like the genre.
