I remember this song on the radio when I was 8. I am 55 now with both parents in the grave and I have been saved by the Grace of God for 26 years. This song has been a favorite of mine for many years just took some time before it sank in. I am not religious, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I'm at the cemetery as my Dad, sister DeeDee and now my Mom have all passed. My Mom would listen to the highway men and I couldn't talk when this song was being sung. She loved it.
