Christ had nothing to prove to his earthly mother, what he did on the cross was between him and his Father in heaven! The Trinity is the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, there is no mother! We do not pray to Mary. She is not alive. "And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” This is Revelations 21:5 ; The forbidden book by Catholicism... If you read and study and understand, you'll find out why. Catholicism is not about Christ but about controlling the people, it is all smoke and mirrors and misdirect and incorrect information! And this is the perfect example! Christ never said this on the cross, the Bible clearly states he says it from his throne WHEN he makes the Earth New! He did not make the Earth knew from the cross, that is where he died to save his people. And saying otherwise in a "Hollywood blockbuster" just proves to the whole world Catholicism is a false religion!! I watched the Passion and was so upset I was sobbing. Then I got incredibly angry and said it’s a good thing I’m not God because I’d kill every last person on earth. It was then that I realized the depth of the love Christ has for us and I started sobbing all over again. We don’t deserve that love but I’m so incredibly thankful for it. The Bible says that they scourged our Lord so badly that he didn’t look human anymore. He has indeed made all things new again.
