Vehemently disagree with Chuds points here especially near the end. Saying that harmful shouldn’t go so hard on soggy was odd. I feel like chud was being very obtuse here and when the conversations became more nuanced and fixed on specific issues he’d just accuse harmful of being autistic and unfairly focused on certain issues. I didn’t find that to be true and it got annoying.

All of harmfuls points on his videos about this were from the offset about only certain problems. There’s nothing wrong about that. There’s nothing wrong with making a video about specific issues that you want to call out. You don’t have to make hours long video’s breaking down the entire case point to point about everything that happened, it’s simply not what harmful was wanting to do with his videos. I know that chud makes content like that a lot (and I fucking love it by the way, chud is still my #1 favourite content creator closely followed by harmful) but that doesn’t mean you need to know or talk about all these other things to have the right to go into only certain topics in deep detail.

I think it’s clear that soggys actions and what’s been happening in the background is extremely suspect and I find that brushing that off as just “yeah there are definitely some problems in his videos” is quite simply not enough. Whether through being dumb or deliberately manipulative/ dishonest, soggys actions seem very scripted in creating a broadly positive narrative to support Mr beast. Soggy soying out in a rage about children never being able to walk again cos Mr beasts money is being affected and therefore he won’t have the funds to donate money to those children is so pathetic, obvious and straight up evil. He’s sweeping for Mr beast, to me that’s obvious. Mr beast is a multimillionaire, this argument is so retarded I can’t believe soggy went with it. It’s not just “he made some mistakes” nah, there are really suspect things at hand here and I think chud is not willing to hold soggys feet under the fire for whatever reason.

My favourite bit was Chud saying Harmful was being too hard on Soggy.
Soggy made a video saying DP404 sucked, then was paid by Mr Beast's team to fly to the USA and make another DP404 sucks vid, ask some really softball questions, repeat Mr Beast's arguments word for word, and gloss Mr Beast to the point he thinks there should be no legal consequences to Mr Beast committing a federal crime.

I think the point that Harmful Opinions is trying to make, the point that Chud won't address is that while Soggy is naive, he's also compromised and he lied by omission.

While other people say that Soggy should have bought his own flights and arranged his own accommodation. I say that Soggy shouldn't have gone.

I’ve liked HO’s content in the past, but he’s making some retarded points...yes, Soggy should have disclosed about the flight, but what else does he not disclose? He showed himself doing the interviews. He isn’t hiding who his sources are. The screenshot with the producer’s claim about hiring Delaware is right there onscreen. There is video of Delaware being hired, which doesn’t disprove the accusation that he told Jimmy upfront, but SC’s narrative makes objectively more sense. S.C. should have stopped short of stating Beast co’s claims as fact, but who else would he source?

Without the context of DP’s videos, you can’t fully understand how aggressively and maliciously DP, Jake Weddle, and Ro have lied and framed things. Weddle stated that Delaware wore a mask in the videos, but we’ve seen footage from many of the videos showing him without one on. The fact that those exist undermines Weddle’s claim. Many, many other claims the 3 of them made have been debunked or shown to be greatly exaggerated or manipulated.

It was really important that the other side was provided and Beast wasnt in a legal position to respond yet. H.O. Is uninterested in criticizing DP. SC’s video was a critique of DP...obv, exposing and countering the lies will help the perception of Mr. Beast, but that is a secondary effect, and i doubt the video would exist at all if it wasn’t crucial to expose how utterly dishonest and malicious DP is, as every criticism of him has been characterized as defending Mr. Beast. And H.O. was extremely harsh in saying S.C. was “throat-pumped“ by Beast co.
I do appreciate that he is conceding some near the end of the stream.

I feel like the Best Buy thing doesn't make a lot of sense. It makes sense that Jimmy would go there because Chris had connections and didn't seek out employing in Delaware. With that link, however, what Soggy said is incorrect or at the very least incomplete. Does this place further blame onto Jimmy, not necessarily; he could've easily impulsively hired Delaware. If I had to guess, Jimmy didn't know and was just naive. The issue is that Soggy omitted vital context that happened to favorably affect Jimmy. I don't blame people for being skeptical of the framings intentions, and I also don't blame people for losing trust in the validity of the rest of Soggy's info.

Really the way harmful looks at things from a much further back context, and from a completely neutral perspective not playing into the dramatube side taking emotional reaction to things.
