Alright in my opinion To Your Eternity should be on here, it first released in 2021 and is still on going I think, anyways, its a rare sighting seeing me crying while watching an anime but with To Your Eternity i cried 4 times and im not even finished season 1 yet, like while watching FMAB i only really cried once and that was when Nina Tucker died but im the first episode of To Your Eternity i was already crying after (spoiler warning watch To Your Eternity before continuing) realising that the wolf that just died a minute ago was some kids pet and he thought Fushi was the wolf that had just died (Johan) and then the boy died and that made me cry AGAIN and that was on episode two, the first two episodes made me cry, then when March died a few episodes later i cried and finally when my boy Gugu died it was the saddest one I've seen

Anyways everyone has their own opinions and this list is your opinion so I'm not gonna complain because i havent watched most of the anime on this list but anyways if i was making this To Your Eternity would've been my #1 sorry for writing a whole ass book explaining why TYE should be on this

all those anime are sad base on personal view, i mean peoples have different view. some said this is sad and some said it's not.

But for the "Grave Of Fireflies" you have no choice because it is reality story about war victims and struggling to survive. it should be no.1 of all time. it's really2 painful to watch💔
