However much your saving, Lego would sitll be making profit if they sold them for the price your getting them for. Feel no shame. As for the odd bit.. ehh that goes out the window when you accept lego one of your hobbies as a grown adult lol I sadly dont have one of these places near me and have to make large orders through bricklink to get somthing approaching this value and thats buying used bricks.
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьThanks to my Wife for helping me do just that.
We were prepared to fill four large cups, when someone mentioned that the LEGO stores were only allowing the boxes, that’s how long it had been since we had been in the store. 🥴😎
That’s so true like I feel like the only one who stacks up the bricks I am alwase in the store for like an hour trying to find a way how to stuff 50 bricks in a 4 inch spot😂
ОтветитьToday I learned there is a LEGO store at the site of the Animals album cover.
ОтветитьI would love to have a pick a brick wall in my country :(
ОтветитьAs a 23 year old buying loose lego with the unfortunate natural look of a tall child or Reddit mod (facial hair depending), the last thing I’m worried about is how odd I look lol. And damn I wish my shop had the masonry bricks for a moc I’m workin on…😂😂
ОтветитьSo it’s 33% more in the box? Honestly, I’m not sure that is worth my time. With bigger stuff, maybe. Less time, more gain.
ОтветитьCouldn't agree more! Always stack your bricks and set them up in an orderly fashion. Just be sure to offset tiles by one stud so you aren't struggling to pull them apart later.
ОтветитьWhy does everyone call it Pick a Brick, when it says Pick and Build? Makes no difference,I know, just curious!
ОтветитьAún se puede aprovechar más esa caja y que cierre.
Si con bricks se aprovecha... con plates mucho más rentable.
Even the Lego shop staff tell ppl to do it that way so ppl get more for there money cos end of the day they are making sales and they get good feedback as well for helping
ОтветитьSo do they charge by the box?
ОтветитьWait.... You get BOXES for your pick-a-brick wall?!!! we get round cups in the states!
ОтветитьYou can fit 800 stacking properly
Ответитьbro didnt smush more bricks into that small little gap
ОтветитьIn my opinion, I don’t stack anything 1x2 or smaller, it’s not worth my time.
ОтветитьHow much do the boxes cost
ОтветитьGenius.
Ответитьi'm conflicted by bricks that are designed to look like bricks. seems a bit redundant.
ОтветитьI stack 19 across.
Ответитьif you pack it diagonally, like lay the 2x4 lying down in the box, you can fit over 700. but putting them up like you did, i think you fit less bricks. would love for you to confirm that though
ОтветитьMinifigJez can't ❤ this comment
ОтветитьWe stack 6 bricks in height. It is a bit higher than the box, but still doable to close. Most Lego stores accept it as long as it is able to close
ОтветитьEveryone does the math wrong on these. You don't compare the difference of bricks in the boxes to the cost of individual bricks online. You would compare how many boxes of loose bricks you'd need to buy compared to boxes of stacked bricks. If a PAB wall box is $8, and you need 1.5 boxes of loose bricks to equal one box of stacked bricks, the stacking saves you $4. $4 for half an hour of work.
ОтветитьYou can grab some tiles for the top of those studs to maximize your boxes :)
ОтветитьHey Jez, is it better to stack them vertically like in your video, or horizontally? I saw another video where someone stacked horizontally and he claimed he had 728 masonry bricks.
ОтветитьGreat idea!
ОтветитьI still have the old container from the pick up brick wall, but it’s a cap
ОтветитьCOOL! when I next visit the UK, let's go PAB box packing . I always take the time to max out my bricks. Also, LOVE brick-bricks! I finally got a whole box of the white ones 🤓
ОтветитьJust seeing so many legos makes me have more interest in legos and keeping me love lego
ОтветитьI did that with similar pieces, got about 400 of those plut some I'm grey and 4 by 6 tiles, definitely worth your time
ОтветитьAppreciate the video, but stacking them on the side works better than stacking them vertically. It is easy enough. You can even lock them in with a 2 studs wide plate at the very end, which makes them fit perfectly in the box all the way to the edge.
ОтветитьWhat’s with the white dots on the Lego logo never seen it looks so gash from the mould before . Lepin sneaking in huh
ОтветитьI hope there is some decent bricks when i go to Legoland soon. May stop off at another Lego shop on the way. My nearest shop is 100 miles away 😢
ОтветитьGlad I'm not the only one who's been doing this. It takes me half an hour per box but it's well worth it.
ОтветитьI’ll remember this tip!
ОтветитьYou definitely got your moneys worth
ОтветитьHow much time did you use for that box?
ОтветитьFinally a good decision that's environmentally friendly from Lego. Way better use of recyclables than the minifigure boxes.
ОтветитьThat is fr so handy thx
