C' has no sharps or flats. that's why it's easy to work with. ;)
ОтветитьNice bass timbre
ОтветитьNice thanks . I can do most of this in s1 I think
ОтветитьAnd the Lead sound? I miss your soundbanks for Vital, those are sick!
ОтветитьJust brilliant!
ОтветитьListeners are so accustomed to stable bass patterns that give them some grounding while the leads are going wild that a randomized bass pattern would provide an element of surprise. The randomized bass cells can be easily done in Vital, just like randomized gates. I'm gonna try it.
ОтветитьVery useful tips. Thanks for this! Also really like that feature I see you have with clip view and arrange view combined. I'm still on ableton 10. I wonder if the new version has that or is it just a bitwig thing?
ОтветитьYour thumbnail is amazing!
Ответитьbeen subscribed for years and this is the first video thats had a notification in a year
Ответитьthanks Dash
ОтветитьAs a C developer I can concur, it is often more convenient to write stuff in C.
ОтветитьLove that mini-session view in Bitwig and how you can drag/drop clips onto the arrangement. TIL that this can be done in Ableton too using "Second Window" - a eureka moment for me, thanks for the inspiration to go and look for a way.
ОтветитьLove it! Thanks for the great video.

ОтветитьArpeggiators and Midi Generators are FUN
👍
Yea …transpose… my midi controller has a few scales…. In C 😅 so been transposing a lot recently
ОтветитьIn ableton you can highlight root note and scale for piano roll
ОтветитьI like to remember all white notes starting at A is minor scale, starting at C is major, and starting at E is phrygian (the dark scale). Transpose to whatever starting note you like.
ОтветитьGroovy bass is the only way to go ! Nice video dash !
Ответитьthanks Dash😃
ОтветитьWhat is this Genre? Is it Jungle?
Ответитьbrilliant!!
ОтветитьYour tyoots are excellent thanks
Ответитьyou can add a modulator on the pitch shifting module and just not comit to any key 😊
ОтветитьI know there should be many producers that are interested in for example tuning the music in 432. Could you maybe give an tutorial on how to tune psytrance in 432? (before render). I find it easy to do in Fl studio, but bitwig seems harder
ОтветитьMuito bom
Ответитьthis kinda stuff already sounded stale 25 years ago. 'formulaic' is the word i'm looking for.
Ответитьthanks for teaching me a lot about vital. no matter the genre.
ОтветитьI like to use VCV Rack and try and come up with generative ways to make basslines and then render them to midi. Basically its just LFO -> Sample&Hold -> Quantizer -> Switch... but every combination of lfo speed and whatever clock you trigger the sample&hold with makes a different groove.
Ответитьhey Dash, we have master transpose in Studio One v7 now too
Ответитьman , thanks for beeing alive! your videos are pure vodka in my tonic! thx for that <3
