Best review I've found on the internet! You're including power consumption and temperatures, also all the relevant CPU's. Great video! ^_^
ОтветитьI think I'll hold on to my 8700k
ОтветитьGigahert is not the singular of Gigahertz
ОтветитьWhy isn't everyone talking about the 2950X threadripper? It was a mile ahead of the 9900k in every benchmark.. Am i missing something?
ОтветитьOne more video that proves that you can save 100+ euro by buying a 9700K and have the same gaming performance as 9900K :) Amazing future proof gaming CPU :)
ОтветитьThat accent...
ОтветитьJesus why is the Ryzen 7 2700x consistently beating the i7-9700k.
ОтветитьGreatest 4k gaming CPU made.
ОтветитьYou would have been better off with a Gigabyte Z390 Master Motherboard. ASUS does not have a good power setup.
ОтветитьIm actually really excited for comet lake for some reason. I like intel guaranteeing 5.1 ghz on there 10700k.
ОтветитьSleep ASMR
ОтветитьWhat paste are you using? I’m hitting 100 with my Noctua @ 5.0 ghz and 1.26v under Cinebench
ОтветитьSo you mean 9900k stock clock speed is 3.6Ghz out of the box? And what clock speeds was used to test 9900k in games?
ОтветитьHey love the channel! I'm building a gaming pc should I just get the 8700? Never built a pc
Ответитьis there something wrong with the people or is it just me . i'm using the 9900K with a liquid cooler and it goes maximum of 45c even in the heaviest game .
Ответитьjesus,i just ordered one and this is the most useful video ever on this cpu.
i wonder, i already have a 150 bucks water cooling system, should work right?
although after watching this video i'm seriously thinking of upgrading my motherboard and cooling(+ power supply of course) before even thinking of upgrading my gpu
Better testing and charts than most commentators. Price v. Performance chart should be used more often (with the disclaimer you offered). Keep up the good work. Still ordered a 9990KS recently though :). Will see if a 360mm AIO is enough.
ОтветитьI bought an Alienware Area 51 laptop with a 9700k 3.0 with a boost to 4.6. I'm very happy with my choice since I would be seriously worried running the 9900k or the or the upgraded 9700 at 5.0 in a laptop. Maybe those are the ones their having problems with overheating since mine runs very stable even at 4.6 It still on par with the 3900x in gaming so no worries. Sometimes I game at 4k with it connected to my TV and still get decent framerates except with the Witcher. Although many games look almost as good at 1440p and even 1080p if all graphic settings are cranked up and if it has either image sharpening or scaling. I actually prefer the larger image since I don't own a 65 or 70 inch TV.
ОтветитьYeah but if you could get a i9 9900K for under $200 shipped would you buy it? I did! Will arrive early Dec. Just buy it and dont overclock it. Use it with water and enjoy the power! Intel for gaming and AMD for video encoding.
ОтветитьI have a I7 6700K and I play at 3440x1440 with a GTX 1080ti. I do 90% gaming and 10% movie watching on my pc. Would I see any real benefit from I7 9700K? Or should I just wait?
ОтветитьThis cpu needs delid.
Ответить"But AMD is toasty"
Those damn sheep never learn
can you share link for temp test for 9700k please
ОтветитьI unsubscribed just because your using us prices, mate we live in Australia
ОтветитьMy i9k at 4.8g and 1.140v got 4999 cb I’m confused it that really good?
ОтветитьDo people realise ryzen performs worse on games?
ОтветитьWith my 9900K I could only achieve 2050 by activating "sync all cores" on bios.
Ответитьwait memory is really maxed out at 2666?
ОтветитьLooks like a gpu bottleneck
Ответитьgood content dude, thx
ОтветитьI have the 9700k and ASRock Taichi Board. Love it! Runs 5 GHZ on all cores perfectly fine on air. Couldn't justify spending an extra $150 for the 9900k, especially since I don't really need the hyperthreading.
ОтветитьI have a GTX1080 and I7-8700k LGA 1151 8th GEN should I upgrade to a I9-9900k as i will be buying a GTX3080 here shortly.
ОтветитьMy i9 9900 is at 42c all time
ОтветитьI'm trying to pick between the damn two or at least get a good CPU that's from intel for 2020.
Ответитьi just gotta say im using a 9700k with a 1660ti and Odyssy @ 1440x2560 with ultra settings and AA turned off gets me a 39 fps low dip with greater highs also...
Oh and i can't find a single "second opinion" if you will, i've watched 9 other benchmarking vids all channels with good rep and they are getting a solid 20 fps greater on the 2700X let alone the intel cpu's, so umm basically i guess what im saying is this looks overwhelmingly flawed and i've tried to give it a good run and compare.
I just bought an i9-9900k at a price equal to the 5600x. I took the i9 because while it has virtually the identical gaming performance to the 5600x, it 'also' has two extra cores. As I often have multiple applications open at the same time, core count was important. It's a hot CPU, so I also picked up for it a Noctua NH-D15 which should keep it cool enough while still quiet.
ОтветитьIf you leave this stock does it still get toasty?
ОтветитьScorching being the key word
ОтветитьI just scooped a 9900k up in 2021 (really late 2020 on a Black Friday deal) and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
I have zero issues cooling this CPU with a Kraken 240mm rad (x53 I think it is?)
And for me the main value was I got to use it on my Z370 motherboard so no other upgrades needed (just a BIOS update)
Hehehe, moving on to Corona, couldn't be more right about that...
Ответить4 years later my 9900k is still running strong and relatively cool. I've been running an all core 5.0Ghz OC since day one. I don't think my cpu has ever even peaked past 70C for more than a second or two. Not sure if I got lucky with the silicon lottery, or my aio is that good?
ОтветитьWhat does that stand for anyway? Ketamine edition?
Ответитьwhat gpu where u runnuing
Ответить14900k watching and laughing..
Ответить5.3g overclock for last 4 years stable 9700k great cpu still today 57c stable while gaming AAA games
ОтветитьI still have the i9-9900k and my buddy has the i7 9700k. He's stock I'm at 5ghz all core, he can mostly use all his 4080, but struggles in a few titles. Can use 100% of my 4090 except 1 title. Avg in the 60% while he's in the highest 70s and 80s, meaning my cpu has a little more life left and it might even use the 5090 fully at 4k 125% Render.
ОтветитьFunny the 9900K is 2.5% faster than the 8700K in gaming and 35% more expensive. Why wasn't this release a "Flop!" Not a "this sucks" in the comments. How times have changed. A Zen 5% would have looked sweet in this era. Intel needs almost 1 Ghz more frequency to get a 11% advantage over that lowly 2700X. Well, almost 0% in 1440p/4K.
ОтветитьSmall typo in the first slide, the 9700K is meant to be 8c/8t as I said in the video. Carry on 🤓
