Robin Singh born Rabindranath Singh was named by his parents after India's greatest Rabindranath Tagore. Robin Singh, as he resides in Sangre Chiquito in Sangre Grande, started his singing career at the age of sixteen years with the D Rampersad Indian Art Orch. where he spent a few years before moving onto the Sangeet Stars Orchestra. Singh then moved onto becoming one of the leading promoters in T&T. At the Riverside Complex in Sangre Grande. He teamed up with Veteran promoter and Radio Broadcaster Moean Mohammed. He then move on his own and brought some of the biggest and best talent to Riverside Complex, such as Trishul Orch, Dil E Nadan, Triveni Orch, D.Rampersad Indian Art, NAYA Zamana, Maestro Harry Mahabir & the BWIA Nation Indian Orch & Gayatones Orch. among many others. He promoted many of the young talent artist of that time such as Raymond Ramnarine, Nadia Madoo, Satnarine Ragoo, Indar Kanhai, Anil Bheem, Kavita Maharaj among some of the mega stars of 1999 Rakesh Yankaran, Rasika Dindial, Heeralal Rampertap, Nisha & Ravi B, Rishi Mahato, Prematee Bheem amongst so many other talented band and artists. Mc Shamoon Mohammed was really amazing at the microphone. In 2008 Robin Singh moves onto launching his own band. Bollywood Music Makers Orch. Which he were the leader and one of the Lead Singers, amongst very talented musicians. He together with his band performed in many shows weddings, private functions along so much more. In recent years the band made quite an impact among music lovers as they perform all genre of music along veteran Omardath Maharaj, Kenneth Supersad, Ramrajie Prabhoo and so many talented artists. 2014-2018 Singh has spend five years promoting and publishing our local artist known and unknown at the TnT Mirror newspapers as his contribution to our culture and artist. Robin Singh continued his musical career without any break with over one hundred rewarded songs which include Solo & Duet paying tribute to playback singers of the Indian film industry Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Kumar Sanu, Mukesh and others. In 2021 Singh has given leadership of his band to his son VIDAL SINGH. Vidal relaunched the band name from Bollywood Music Makers to D’Fire Band Crew which is now doing many releases of film & chutney soca music on the local East Indian Radio stations. Vidal Singh have grown alongside his father and taken in his foot step as he is today a very talented & versatile keyboardist, singer and knowledgeable off most of the other instruments and digital equipments. Vidal is also a sound engineer and the owner of Vidal Recording and Television Studio (VRS) in Sangre Grande. Robin Singh is today, still one of the lead singers in the band D’Fire Band Crew.
