Whoever thought those standards were low must be power lifters. Those are good starting points for a beginner.

Bodyweight Deadlift
Bodyweight Squats
3 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups (why not DIPS instead?)
Bench Press Bodyweight
Press Half of Bodyweight Overhead

I out class my 20 year old self in everything from work ethic, fixing cars, logging and splitting 30 cord of wood by hand, carpentry, speaking French and Italian having lived and studied in those countries. Wrote a book…. Etc…
All the weight lifting and making it to a 345 bench for 1 rep max.
The only thing I cannot do that I was able to do with ease at 20 are pull ups.

this is an awesome list. my personal one is similar except i have dips and just added body weight grip bar grip for time. if you're advanced you can wear a weight vest or a loaded backpack
