You all in Nashville keep voting for this crime. Just look at what you voted in as Mayor! I do not feel sorry for you.

Very upsetting to hear that our generation of young kids / teenagers dangerously being reckless with no care in the world on who this affects.

while the Kia & Hyundai, company just keeps being bias about a software update that’s not guaranteed to work.

Just put in an real immobilizer into our system like other auto manufacturers do to prevent theft?

We as owners with the key ignition need real justice , our cops don’t care , car companies doesn’t care , the economy don’t care .

Arthur Rice and Michael Wakefield have developed a groundbreaking solution to combat a growing threat in the automotive industry: physical theft or keyless auto theft. This type of theft targets vehicles equipped with keyless entry and start systems, exploiting vulnerabilities that tech-savvy thieves leverage using relay attacks or signal amplification techniques. Rice and Wakefield's invention guarantees to prevent vehicle theft from specific locations, addressing these vulnerabilities and offering a foolproof solution against keyless auto theft.

NOT HYUNDAI!!, Very Bad choice. 13 years of fires even new ones. There was a CONGRESSIONAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION for knowingly putting in 6 million bad engines, look it up, They DO NOT RELACE THE ENGINE !!! They rebuild the lower portion of the engine only, even though the metal and dirty oil went thru the top half and the catalytic converter, there is an oil consumption, airbag, emissions failure, immobilizer and other law suits in the works as well as a defective o ring in the braking system that you lose your breaks then the vehicle catches on fire, they fix this by replacing a fuse, what a joke. Hyundai (kia) dose not give a damn about you or your safety, spending hundreds of millions advertising (superbowl) and sponsoring the NFL but wont spend a penny to fix there bad cars without being sued. STOP BUYING HYUNDAI and KIA!!!! Now ntsa is investigating there last 15 recall repairs as potentially inadequate and unsafe.

Install a hidden switch that will cut off power to the starter or the fuel pump relay.

Had software update done. Next month the Sedona van was stolen. And they didn't break a window, they broke the door lock.

Weird how thousands of people are aware that the Kia update doesn't work, but Kia claims they haven't heard anything.

Have someone with a regular cut key with no remote for your car sit inside, while you lock the car with your remote on the outside and walk away. A minute later come back without your remote ond see if the guy inside can start your car, its the same as breaking the lock and turning the ignition. and the same as someone breaking a window and crawling through the opening and smashing the ignition to get at the switch to start it. And report back
