Almost all of my friends are going to college in August and they will all be at the same one but it’s really far away so I will hardly get to hang out with them anymore. After college they will be getting real jobs and homes and things will never be the same. I’m gonna try to spend as much time as possible with them this summer but it’s already so hard to find time with all of us having jobs. Anyways I’m sorry he’s leaving, growing up is hard :(

Unfortunately, change happens, it is something unavoidable in life, and I understand not wanting this change, but things will happen, and time will move on. Eventually, the sadness will fade, but the emptiness might linger a while longer. That’s okay. It makes sense you are sad. Despite hating our siblings sometimes, we can’t stand to have them leave us so far away. It’s hard to not see them everyday, and that’s the irony of life. We were made to love someone we hate sometimes too. It’s hard to explain it, but they’re family. I promise it will stop being so sad not having him around, but it will take a while.
Change hurts, but sometimes we can’t stop it. That’s okay.
