Has to be, hands down, one of the most eerie sounding instruments of human existence. There's just something about the distorted chimes that the glass harmonica creates that just makes my hair stand on ends. I remember several nightmares I had once having distorted music in it that sounded just like this. lol

It reminds me of the merry-go-round music, but slower. Oddly melancholy

Sadly, the glass armonica, invented by founding father Ben Franklin, fell out of favor, probably because the early instruments were colored with lead paint, causing sickness or worse.

This piece somehow reminds me of my dreams as a child as if I’ve heard this before in my dreams. I can’t stop listening to it like I’m getting closer to remembering something I long forgot. It’s so familiar and nostalgic to me.

My head ache goes away after listening to this music so relaxing.

The more I look at this instrument, the more I think of how nerve racking it is to have to move it around, especially if you have to move it from building to building or out of state.

But this is such a lovely sounding instrument. Introduced this to a friend in Algeria, and all he could say was "magical".

Mary Ann Davies was the FIRST ONE who Benjamin Franklin ask to play this music instrument the glass harmonica. She was a great musician with her sister in the XVIII Century. They had to fight stronger to stay alive in a man musicien world. History shut up how great those 2 women were to promote this incredible instrument. 🔥💛🔥
