The best performance of this work I have heard thus far. The clarity of sound is superb.

A fantastic performance, wish I had been there. I’ve been listening to other recordings of Tchaikovsky piano solos for several years, they are all beautiful, but I have learnt so much from watching this recording and the interpretation. Op 37a is my goal for 2024, or at least some of it, so I’ll be returning to this recording frequently for a bit of inspiration.

Ich wurde aufmerksam auf diese Kompositionen durch die Pianistin Olga Scheps. Bin jetzt sehr erleichtert und angetan, dass es auch eine männliche Interpretation gibt, voller poetischer Kraft. Das ist moderne Pianistik in Vollendung. Meine Gratulation!

I just bought the notes with the intention to raw-study a movement per month SLOWLY! But I have discovered, that it is far more difficult, than I thought at first - for an amateur like me.

I felt this was an outstanding representation of these beautiful works. I'd not heard Denis Matsuev before, but will definitely follow through to hear more of his work now. Thank you for the download.
