Mice Pest Control : What Scent Repels Mice?

Ed, I live in a town house with no basement and my attic is joined to my neighbor's, with a wooden wall separating them.
My local Pest control keeps putting down poison bate in my attic, but after over a year, the mice just keep eating it and dieing. Of course, I have to pay them to keep replenishing the bate.
My neighbors won't use any pest control and I think the bate is actually attracting the mice from their attic over to mine.
What do you think? How can I keep the mice in my neighbors attic from coming into mine?
Would spraying the adjoining attic wall with bleach or peppermint spray work?

Basically the 3 ideas he gave out does nothing to deter mice.. theres a video of a guy putting over 40 moth balls in a small closed environment and they didnt care at all.. bleach , mice arent bacteria.. if the smell of bleach is making you want to get out then thats the point when mice will too, same with ammonia.. didnt even touch on peppermint extract. That stuff works...

Use a sifter go around edges of rooms behind every appliance with baking soda. They hate it. I could see imprint of half a body. I finally found the way they were getting in. I had traps poison ammonia big traps peppermint. I read how to place them. How to bait them. They bit traps and didn't set it off. I have cayenne pepper sprinkled across place they were getting in still man comes this week. It is between shingles and foundation over lap. Climbed on wires and hose house. I'm out about 5000$ closing holes repaved sidewalk reglazed windows ruined my rug couch hardwood floors Ugh I should have done the baking soda first.

Did anyone really believe that someone who rids pest for a living is going to tell you how to get rid of them without their help? Com'on seriously. I have used peppermint oil (but I also change it up with Spearmint and Wintergreen sometimes mixed with citronella and 100% proof vodka, yes, vodka but only PURE vodka no rodent likes the burning sensation of alcohol! Otherwise, they do get used to the smell if you use only one scent!) and a simple pest control app on my phone that uses high pitched sounds to keep pests away. So far, it's worked really good for us. But the neighbors complain about having mice. Whoops, guess we sent them over there LOL.

I want to move them out of my motorcycle trunk and that's it so yes I want to just use a scent to repel mice. This was a waste of my time.

what if you live in an apartment and your shitty landlord doesn't want to do anything about it? i have no say in pest control or moving shit around to fill holes and my neighbors' disgusting asses who leave their garbage bags out in the parking lot keep attracting mice. i need real solutions, man, not this advertising crap.

Only good mouse is a DEAD mouse. Just buy Victor mouse traps. Buy a snickers chocolate bar, cut a tiny piece stick it on there as snug as possible so the mouse has to yank it (not nibble it off) and watch his dead body laying there in the morning. Speaking from experience, I've killed literally hundreds of mice in my building the past 2 years.
