You sit in frame like the prettiest little mad scientist in the whole world, working your always-impressive musical kung fu, and you take this sonic confection all dark and dramatic. It's like a slow-motion movie sound track. And all that is a good thing; any fool can do a straight-up cover. Your (yes, I'll say it) genius is in reinterpreting it as an almost brand new song. It's freaking awesome.
