Its a huge pain in the a88, but once ur set up, its a blessing (sooo enjoyable, sooooooo much fun!!!)
ОтветитьI just received the same tent, for free 😊
ОтветитьBig tens for car camping are great. Enjoy the space! Great video. I have subscribed! :)
ОтветитьI also use bins. Using them has eliminated so much frustration when it comes to organizing and storing my gear, supplies, and food. I love the tent! A little elbow room in a tent makes everything easier. Nice video. Thank you.
ОтветитьOne small thing, would it hurt to consider a small stand like maybe a wooden tv tray to set your stove on so you'd have access to your cooler while cooking....just a suggestion
ОтветитьIt was nice seeing a basic car camping video that wasn't about glamping
ОтветитьIm getting a bin for my first camping
ОтветитьWhat happened to camping 🏕 all I needed was a tent a sleeping bag and a sandwich 🥪
ОтветитьGood info. Thx
ОтветитьGood tips 🏕👍🏽😊
ОтветитьBuy a Canyon Cooler. They are cheaper than Yetis and have some cool accessories.
Ответитьwhat tent is that in this episode?
ОтветитьTent isn't hooked right hes a rookie
ОтветитьBy “car camping” I wasn’t sure if you didn’t mean sleeping in the car itself. BTW, I notice that is a truck.
Nice campsite location.
I am debating whether to sleep in a truck-bed tent or a freestanding tent.
I might try the pvc bin system. Just getting started but I have “camped” in the Army extensively.
What is the exact name of the tent? It looks great.
ОтветитьI had much the same stuff organized the same except I used the flip-top bins because their stack securely and I don't have the lid to worry about. One negative is they will let water in so I kept them in the car or tent. also had a Coleman dual fuel stove. It all got stolen from my site near Lake Shasta back when fires were breaking out there a couple of years back.
ОтветитьYou have reaffirmed my want to get a bigger tent than I need once I’m able to go camping just to make sure I have a big enough covered space outside my car that I can stay in.
ОтветитьMe gusta su forma de pensar.
Buen video.
Thank you!!!
ОтветитьHaha. Your head is higher than the tent. You definitely can't stand up straight in the tent. Even so, I agree it's a nice tent. Otherwise, decent video.
ОтветитьKingdom 6 is $499. I bought a Kingdom 4 for $210 at the garage sale.
ОтветитьGreat video! :-) I am exclusively a car camper (though also exclusively dispersed; I like the adventure!); I find a spot, stop, stake & stay. I, like you, am precious about my tentspace; I have my Summer tent, an 8 man cabin style, my foulweather tent, a 6 man dome, & last, my holy-crud-it's-cold tent, a 3 man dome. I only use that one when it's mid-Winter, & I'd be miserable in anything larger (read: less economical for body-heat).
Otherwise, I have to have at least 9msq to myself, or I get physically claustrophobic + socially overextended - + thus crabby + unpleasant - within like 2 days, which isn't great because I never go on trips of less than 5 days (if you count the day of arrival, & the morning of pack-up). I'm married, but my husband doesn't camp, so getting that space to myself is rarely an issue though I have had to explain to a friend once or twice, when they asked why we can't just take 1 tent, & save the extra cargo space.
I'm an unrepentant glamper; elevated bed w. memory foam topper, inflatable sofa, zero gravity recliner as fireside chair, chemical toilet...the works. Though I stop short of the AC unit, the little heater + the TV, as I have seen some family campers bring; if it gets too hot in my tent, I leave it, if it gets too cold in my tent, I line the walls with foil blankets, & if I get bored, I go for a walk. I camp to be in nature - comfortably so, but still in nature - & maybe it makes me a fuddy-duddy, but I feel like there's a big difference between bringing your phone, or even your tablet, & bringing your TV. So, that's my line, but everyone has their own.
Thankfully, I'm a very skilled cook, + since I plan the menu & do all the cooking for the entirety of each trip, none of my friends ever complain about the extra weight of all my 3-star, humble homebrew glamping gear in the trailer. ;-)
P.S. I am now enjoying exploring your site! So much great reading material. :-D
Thank you Alex Honnold!
ОтветитьVery good organization.
ОтветитьNo to big tents. Do some yoga and be comfortable sitting lying on the ground. Not a big deal.
ОтветитьNice tent great info.
ОтветитьLesson learned! always bring plastic bins on camping :)
Ответитьi once went camping and forgot my sleeping bag!
ОтветитьThis video is very helpful thank you for sharing. I love to have a camping like
ОтветитьDang, people take way too much shit camping
ОтветитьPlease lose the music
ОтветитьA tarp for the bottom is f your tent is useful
ОтветитьEssential gear for car camping..... #1 get a car
ОтветитьHi Lena... It's Jeeim ;)
ОтветитьThank you for this video, its a good start up.
ОтветитьI loved how organized you are...I will definitely buy those bins.
I'm wondering, if you read an Atomic Habits by James cleare? ;D
Thanks. I love that tent. It looks easy to put up.
ОтветитьSnow Peak IGT
ОтветитьYou sound just like Pete Buttigieg.
ОтветитьSo your camping? And your car is camping? But you don’t even give your car a tent or a sleeping bag. Should we call someone?
ОтветитьWhat size are those totes
ОтветитьI thought “car camping” was camping inside the car. Surely this is just “camping” ?
ОтветитьWhat is this "outside" place everyone keeps talking about?
ОтветитьI have two kids and two dogs that stay in the tent at night. My list is just a little bigger. Haha
ОтветитьI would love to see more people using firepans instead of building fire rings with rocks that get really messy. What I use is cheap, lightweight and easy to pack. check out my vids.
ОтветитьI don’t put anything in a bin, they are a waste of space. As he said, he has plenty of it, I don’t. I put everything in bags and stuff sacks. They can be squeezed into tight places, bins can’t and any air space in the bin is taking up unnecessary space.
ОтветитьHOW COME YOU HAVENT GOT THE KITCHEN SINK
ОтветитьWhat sandals r those
