I live in the Rocky Mt region and I found your video quite beneficial cause with the wind & sometimes of our winters, it can drop down into the -30's to -50's, thank goodness it doesn't last for weeks and usually ranges 0/-10 to -15/-20 most of the time for the coldest part. (I ramble sometimes)
Any way you have some really good ideas I could use for the green house, even it it would be on a smaller scale and definitely the raised planter beds.
What are those boots? They look like really good boots
ОтветитьTable came out great
ОтветитьJust found your channel. Digging it.
ОтветитьI love your hillside Garden, I'm hoping to get to my back hills in the next year or two, currently I've placed 12 fruit and 8 nut trees on them.
ОтветитьI just purchased metal raised beds this year...LOVE THEM & so do my tomatoes.
Ответить❤🎉 every person: just start with 1 of something. You can do just 1? Can't you? So don't become paralyzed by the thought of "it's too much!" Just start. Paint 1 wall. Do 1 raised bed. Plant 1 tree. Put up 1 side of the fence. You'll surprise yourself with the good feeling of getting something done and how NICE it looks! Then you'll be inspired to keep going!😂😂😂
ОтветитьAmazing video man!!! Don't worry or think about the view count, just keep making content that you enjoy producing :)!
ОтветитьI just purchased on a hillside. yea it's a lot of work to get anything done.
ОтветитьI so love all your projects, and very much appreciate the care and thought you bring to all you do! Good on you for building your wife that table - her reaction was priceless!
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьBeautiful table!!
ОтветитьOh… My… Goodness… this makes me so excited to start working harder in my yard. Like you, all of my raised beds are wood, but so old that they are rotting out. However, I had lined all of them with tile discarded from the tile store. (I considered hardware cloth, but when I came up with a tile idea, I figure I’d give it a try.) Anyways, I have been procrastinating hard on this project for years now as I realized it’s not as simple as my wife seems to think. (Mostly because of all the tile work I have to redo in any new raise beds.)
ОтветитьYou scored some major husband points with that table 😁! Great job!
ОтветитьNew subscriber.. loving the useful and entertaining content!
ОтветитьI'd say that was justifiable procrastination on moving all that dirt uphill. Kudos!
Nice looking table with some unique construction.
Keep up the good work 👏
Not a procrastinator but I live with one! I so appreciate all the hard work you do and the education I am getting. If I could afford it I’d certainly would become a member. In the meantime please keep putting these videos out for people like me who are interested in the foraging medicinal plants, gardening etc. and getting overall knowledge of these things. Beautiful table by the way for your wife, what a lovely gesture!
ОтветитьYou make me 😃 thankyou
ОтветитьIs that hill you put the raised beds a south facing hill? It looks pretty sunny.
ОтветитьVery cool! Thank you.
ОтветитьWatching this video makes me happy 😊
ОтветитьInertia... such a challenge. Table is absolutely gorgeous.
ОтветитьThanks for the education , I just found your channel today.
ОтветитьWhat kind of boots are those?!? They look awesome
ОтветитьOoooh, shared the joy your wife had when the looked at your table:- it’s beautiful.
ОтветитьAre we procrastinating or are we just aware of how time consuming all the millions of projects we have are? Maybe we are just being practical trying to match projects to the amount of time that we have available.
ОтветитьThat's not procrastination - that's letting the wood dry out and get well seasoned! :)
ОтветитьNew to your channel. Love your hillside garden ideas, have a very similarly elevated garden area, oh and the same hungry garden neighbors. I use solidi sheets of cut hardware cloth wide enough to sit the bed on. 3 ft metal garden stakes to hold up either bird netting or chicken wire and also try a bit of hugalkulture in bottom of beds if deep enough. Keep up the great ideas!
ОтветитьOmg you’re goofy! I didn’t realize this from the last vid of yours I watched. I love it! So glad I subscribed! 😆
ОтветитьYou should have an auger to move that dirt, or a pulley system of some sort. Take care of those knees.
ОтветитьGreat garden
ОтветитьThanks! Loved your wife’s reaction.
ОтветитьI discovered your channel today! You made a beautiful table.
ОтветитьInspirational, thank you
ОтветитьGreat content.
Ответить👍😊
ОтветитьHer joy was so sweet. Thank you for sharing. 😊
ОтветитьNo wonder you're in such good shape!
ОтветитьI love this! My father had so many things he wanted to do, but with untreated ADHD, he procrastinated so much. When he died unexpectedly, a huge part of my grief was for all the things he didn’t do. It can be as simple as it will make you happy and may make others happy. Do the things. ❤
ОтветитьThank you for posting this. It’s not so much that I’ve been procrastinating regarding several things I needed to finish and start. It’s that I and my family have been through quite a bit of trauma the last three or four years.
My husband had a genetic condition/disease called MEN1 that we didn’t know he had until they found a gigantic pituitary brain tumor that they said had to have been growing for several decades and was at the point that it had twisted its way into the nooks and crannies of his beautiful and brilliant brain. They removed it, but it and other effects of the MEN1 had done too much damage and he began having brain clots and massive hemorrhaging.
His last time that he was hospitalized he went into a coma. We had never discussed what we would want if something like this ever happened. My sons and I and his father were at great odds with my daughter regarding THAT decision. So, I held on for seven long, violent, bloody, excruciating months in hopes that maybe what my daughter believed would happen would happen. I didn’t know comas could be bloody and violent.
It came down to the point that we couldn’t stand to see him like that and the possibility that he was suffering or frightened and we couldn’t tell. So, I made THAT decision. Now, I have a fractured family that used to be tight knit and damage to my back from fracturing it while caregiving for my husband AND my parents over the previous 20 years.
So, it’s not really procrastination, but not having my brain cleared enough to know where to get started and how to approach all the fun or difficult things that surround me.
Today I woke up for the first time in two years with a plan and began implementing it. When I sat down to rest, I ran across this video and it, along with the music and the outtakes from movies, spoke to my heart to keep going. God does that for me a lot in so many areas and knew I needed this today and the timing was perfect for me to receive it.
You might not think this video is worth much to anyone. But, let me tell you! It was an emotional and spiritual gift to me today. Thank you again and may God richly bless you and your wife in the way you blessed me today.
Let me get back to you on my answer…
ОтветитьOld iphones can be used for backup cameras…record with them just in case. If your primary and secondary cameras work, toss the the iphone footage or archive it.
Ответить#26 here
ОтветитьLove it!!
ОтветитьAnd this is why we build.
ОтветитьHer reaction to the table, made my night. I love doing things for my wife, just to see her smile is my world. Great video!
ОтветитьI love your wife’s reaction ❤ good job.
ОтветитьI've been planning for years to do some raised metal planter boxes like these and kept putting it off just like you. I feel motivated now! Thanks.
