We are living in a doome and they know it
ОтветитьEurope think they are bigger than the world
ОтветитьI wouldn't have a EV, but as I've driven many Teslas I know what they feel like. I recently had a Porsche Taycan for a day and I must say that the torque that thing had was insane. The only way I can describe it is, you know when Star Trek goes into warp speed? Well that's what it feels like, must be what fighter pilots feel to a degree?
ОтветитьThis government like the last couldn't run a bath and are content to destroy industry they fail to understand that the infrastructure isn't there and won't be there in time and in many people's case won't ever be there for reasons of where they can charge their vehicles for example people that live in blocks of flats etc and for many others the fact that they can't afford an electric car in the first place especially as they are getting rid of the free road tax for EVs on top of the fact that people in the UK are being taxed to the hilt and only set to get worse at the up coming budget I believe hydrogen fuel is the way to go and it's where the focus on future should be making current vehicles able to be converted and producing no harmful emissions and doing away with all the infrastructure problems associated with EVs
ОтветитьGov n tabloids are the same thing there trying to create FOMO to try to influence and increase EV sales 🤦♂️👍✌️
ОтветитьI want the mug 😊
ОтветитьAll thats happening here ONCE AGAIN? is any European manufacturer will get penalised to death. Even though they employ 1000's put shed loads of money into their respective Governments pot. All in the cause of this constant emission crap. The UK alone has some of the lowest on the planet. CHINA has some of the highest. So they can produce as many petrol/diesel high emission vehicles they want. But because Europe will only buy their EV's. Nothing will be said. Our climate idiots can sweep all the numbers under the carpet. Ticking all the boxes and targets while CHINA can choke the earth but employ loads of their citizens. While Europe's leaders can put 1000's of workers out of a job! IS COVID RESPONSIBLE FOR ROTTING BRAIN CELLS??
ОтветитьDid you notice Tesla stock shoot up 30% after their Q3 results. EV are going for it....
ОтветитьI dont understand how politicians are being obeyed by businesses. By even bothering to make cars they cannot sell. Any company wasting funds like that, deserves to go out of business. I would stop my company from involving intself in a loss making process. And drop any part of making battery driven cars. I would make only vehicles we can sell. While keeping abreast of progress towards a zero emission vehicle. And running planning to install anything that looks capable. I would sell anything I have that links with battery cars at the highest price I could get, as soon and as quickly as possible. If the politicians decide to close my company down. Well see how we fare in court. As we too are just as capable of bankrupting our company as politicians. But we dont want to bankrupt our company. A notice to this effect would be supplied to the individual mentioned politicians, in readiness for court action and compensation.
ОтветитьMPG
I need to change my car next year.
Been looking at 2020-ish cars.
What is going on?
Newer cars MPG are a lot worse than 2012-2019 car.
Car manufacturers only seem to care about or are forced to care about emissions and euro6 and future euro7 emissions.
What damage will new euro7 from July 2025 do to newer cars real world.
What do you think of the new VED or road tax. I love it
ОтветитьHere is an idea. Automakers can cut the losses and leave European market. At least for a time. If nobody else will be able to meet criteria and fill the market, this bs will go away overnight or Europeans can walk or drive a bicycle. I mean if somebody is bent on self harm, like British with their Brexit, let them.
ОтветитьThe push for EVs is a government ruse for mass transit, all in the name of the greatest contextual fraud of "climate change".
Yes, the climate changes but, no, it's no greater a problem than it ever has been, nor will taxing and regulating the living crap out of ordinary taxpayers and consumers for the relevance, wealth and power of the ambitious crisis pushers do anything to stop "climate change".
It is impossible for man to stop "climate change".
From memory the bulk of Tesla profits are from carbon credits, not to mention taxpayer subsidies.
ОтветитьGovernment interference! Oh, just go the whole hog and nationalize everything!
Then take 100% responsibility; costs, development, future designs etc, etc, etc. Then boys 100% of production can be E.V.'s! See how long you last!😂
This is all about governments wanting to control the climate of the planet 🏴
Ответитьmy son has a 2005 Superb, the 1.9TDi. It launches like a rocket. Gotta love an Volksaudi.
ОтветитьEVs and car finance. Watch companies go bust. But ICE 1980s cars.
ОтветитьTheres no "mainstream media" telling you anything. Jist look at the sales fogures. Weve moved quickly from "noone is buying them" to "ahhh but the rate of increase is not as much forecast". Well fince but sales are still rising YOY.
ОтветитьYour choice is a nice looking car. And a bargain at that. That's the future. Stuff electric.
ОтветитьAs Asia outstrip every country in the world for production of CO2 by multiples, these efforts will do nothing but hurt businesses, countries and people, which is the intention. Control is the goal.
ОтветитьThe sad thing is that all this chaos with electric cars was foreseeable and indeed was foreseen. My plan is to keep my Ford Focus diesel forever and never buy another car. I’m out.
ОтветитьWow!! Prices have gone up a bit since the rear engined Estelle🙄
ОтветитьEv = impractical.
ОтветитьWe need to scrap all car subsidies whether ICE or EV and scrap tariffs for EV imports. Let consumer preference decide whether they want to buy a BYD or a VW
ОтветитьThe EU politicians are destroying our economy and want us to submit to China. They want to control every aspect of our lives because this is what communists do.
ОтветитьAs soon as government start getting involved you’re basically fxxxxd. It’s just a question of time.
ОтветитьCost of living means people aren’t willing to pay for a new car that cost at least £10k more than the equivalent ICE car. Manufactures are deluded thinking the public will carry on buying overpriced unaffordable EV cars when the majority of us are struggling to live. Think I’ll keep my old car
ОтветитьSkoda’s are good cars but 50k for a 2l diesal is nuts 😂
ОтветитьHow many of these mp’s are in China’s pockets?
ОтветитьThose dsg boxes give bother according to local taxi drivers who they're popular with
ОтветитьThis is where things get to, when the wholesale lies over CO2 & the nonexistent Climate Crisis are believed
ОтветитьClimate change is a hoax, don't believe anything they tell you . Ive been listening to their hoax's since leavong school,no chance of me taking their vaccine , i didnt kill any grannies either.
ОтветитьMany car companies are registering unsold cars to meet their EV Quotas and avoid the 15k per car penalty. Which will work this year but they cant afford to keep doing it. It's costing them tens of millions. Madness.
ОтветитьAll I can think is,,,Don't get me started. Lol
ОтветитьBack in the 2010s, my late wife bought her first, and only brand new car. A 1.4 classic blue coloured Octavia. cost just over 14,000. It was fabulous. Spacious, comfortable, quick and economical. Since then, everything has gone taller and fatter and heavier. I ended up with a mark 1 vrs 1.8 turbo. The first Octavias were sleek and pretty. Now it's all angles and grills that look like they came from the kerbside drains.
Can we go back to pretty and practical please.
EV's are a scam and the pseudo crisis that lies behind it is a scandal..Not to mention the appalling 2009 car scrappage scheme which was the single most destructive damaging thing to the environment this century. Nobody wants EVs..They're not good enough yet..Also I question whether EVs are the solution at all.
ОтветитьDon't forget the extra road tax on that £52k Skoda.
ОтветитьI am buying a brand new 2L BMW x1 M for less than £55k - this is nuts.
ОтветитьA month later.. EVs have just made up 25% of New Car market in UK. Someone is telling porkies
Ответитьthe market is killing the business. They are selling expensive vehicles using old tech that customers do not want
Ответитьi think the demand for EVs in general has gone up. The demand for VW group EVs however hasnt as they are clearly overpriced compared with the competition.
ОтветитьIt's quite amazing how little value used cars in the UK have.
ОтветитьThank you so much
ОтветитьGeoff ......... Supposing Skoda (and others) were forced to buy carbon credits from China........ surely the cost would have to be met by the Skoda customer + this would most likely increase the attraction of buying a Chinese all electric car because of the price differential + China are apparently opening a new COAL-FIred power station every week ! Even if my amateur logic is off beam, my question is, in terms of CO2 emmissions for planet Earth, how is this ludicrous Government enforced 'green' (ha, bl***y ha) policy beneficial ??? Answers on the head of a pin please !.
ОтветитьThe Government is meant to represent its people, not make them all redundant. The mandates are simply handing our business and jobs to China.
ОтветитьBbc msm politicians, green party, green zealots all covering up the Imperialism of child and slave labour mining lithium and cobalt never mind the lack of PPE
ОтветитьManufacturers need to unite and boycott countries with extreme quotas and concentrate on petrol and diesel markets like usa, russia, africa, south america etc
Ответить
