Turnips grow one root for one seed. $1.35 will plant a row 100" long with 600 plants, this will produce roughly 50 lbs of turnips at $4 per pound for organics, that is $200, not $100-$200 per plant. And you have to be able to sell them in a timely manner. Glad it's working for him, but WTH is this guy talking about?????

Its not biological, its just dutch hydroponics with bought nutrition. This is not a Big deal. Space is artifical, this Food is artifical. Bio has its value for reasons.

You always Need to add nutritions for Aquaponics, Fishes only provide Nitrogen and Phosphate. Its not sustainable what theyre doing. He only wants to Sell a system to scale, its simply to Easy Food to be good. The Energy is Great but no wisdom in doing so.

...no business can start with 45 dollars....

Those lava rocks aren’t cheap and you CANNOT grow root veggies in that. The rocks would create misshaped tubers. Same if you grew carrots in rocky soil. I support it but I wouldn’t attempt root veggies with this method. Id incorporate square foot gardening for beets, radishes and carrots and the aquaponics for above ground veggies. 16 carrots/radishes per square foot and about 8 beets per square foot. A 4x4 garden can yield 256 carrots per harvest.😉

Yes absolutely right. This is the way. If you guys consider this way, and you choose hydroponics, handling concentrated fertilizers can be dangerous so protect yourself, protect your pets. Wear gloves and store it properly.
